Homemade Mapo Tofu 麻婆豆腐
- Medium heat the cooking pan with 3 tbsp of olive oil.
- Add 1 tbsp bean paste, 1 tbsp Sichuan chili oil, minced garlic and red chili pepper. (*slowly cook)
- Add quarter pound of ground meat (cook well done)
- Add diced tofu cubes
- Add 1 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tbsp of oyster sauce and half cup of chicken broth.
- High heat for a minute, then add “cornstarch mixed with water” to thicken the sauce.
- Add half tbsp of sesame oil, scallion and cilantro.
