wooohoo chapter #2 !@!. First of all, thanks to all the people who believed in
us, lots of ppl loved h8zine's first chapter and im happy with that.

This week our friends from TGX accepted our invitation to be interviewed in
h8zine's house of pain, be sure to read the whole interview :)

Besides mp3 releasing, i noticed this week a funny conversation in some eleet
channel about AUTOTRADING. Some people think that autotrading is a valid &
honourable way to gain respect in the scene... Why are they allowed then?
They get caught but still you can see'em trading under another groups and so
on and nobody does shit about it. Is that the scene everybody wants? Groups
releasing fakes, reencodes, stolen crap and then couriers spreading all of that
shit while they are sleeping? It's time to put some order, BAN THE GAY MP3 GROUPS
(*-DON *-FUA *-SUT *-TS4L ETC) and BAN THE AUTOTRADERS! There's NO second
chance for those who have cheated (releasing crap or autotrading), the only
chance they deserve is to be SCENE BANNED. You know who they are, not need to
mention all of'em, just ban'em.

Talking about autotraders...please give a warm welcome to MARVIE/MIP! the
autotrader is back! wee !!

We also got the comment from one of our readers who said this:
"I think the top majority of the zine is hot and discusses relivent scene topics,
but the bottom part is nothing more than group bashing. Particularly on rages behalf,
rage have specifically said in the past they wernt interested in ripping south and
screw, but as soon as they get a rip SUT would normally own, rage comes at sut with a
lame comment. Sut is a another victim of the wcr curse, which is big groups hating on
them for ripping nice shit, and everyone else rolling with it because they are scared
of being outcast." <--Fair but remember one thing, it wasnt RAGE or any other of the
big groups who started doing reencodes & fakes, there's something called PRIDE and im
sure most of the people ripping for the big groups are pride of their legit stuff.
It's easy to say "the big groups are fucking the small groups" "the big groups didnt
give a chance to -CRAP group" "the big groups want the whole cake for'em" so WHAT?!!
thanks to'em we have access to quality stuff, never forget that, dupe the hottest
releases ever done in the scene and you'll see, it wasnt FUA or SUT or any other of
those groups...think about it.

**ANSWER FROM RABIAMP3 TO THAT ANON COMMENT**
sut thinks screw rips are like bigger than a new 50 cent or eminem release, so when
another group gets one of those lil rips sometimes it's funny to joke about how unelite
it is so sut will cry at their favorite rappers being laughed at
**END OF RABIAMP3 ANSWER**

I dedicate this chapter to the ALLTIME nuked group of the scene : -ESK (fuck you)

hey! I WEAR MY SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT, and while i was dancing like a fucking robot
in private electronic party @ irc i met a nice dude, when i asked him for his name,
he said "CALL ME TGX MOTHERFUCKER" so here we go ..-->>

<Lord_h8r>
1.- hello TGX, tell us, how long have you been releasing in the scene?
<TGX>
A: TGX's 3rd birthday was May 9th 2004
Every birthday we try to do a big amount of good releases (by our standards) and
this year's birthday was the best by far with 30 good rels

<Lord_h8r>
2.- What genres do you like to concentrate on?
<TGX>
A: We concentrate on the "bigger" Trance/House/Progressive/Techno releases... Only Vinyl/CD btw
Don't really have alot of subgenres we like to focus on, because we believe there's already
too many groups doing everything they can get their hands on. In the end we benefit from being
a single-genre Group because of us all loving the same music keeps the group strong and our
members are good friends, even outside the scene!
Friendship is something, we think, is important to remain a steady group

<Lord_h8r>
3.- do you think that the number of people listening to your music are growing or decreasing
<TGX>
A: The number is definitely groing... People from Asia/North and South-America are just discovering
the sound... Its getting pretty big over there very fast
You see the new batch of producers often coming from such a region also... In Europe the sound is
changing rapidly all the time, which allows new people to stand up and take a place in the industry
but on the other hand it also wipes out some of the "older" producers
Trance is becoming more and more mainstream... we'll have to wait and see if its for the best. Currently
I think its for the bad with the industry going less and less underground but hopefully itll
change sometime soon. The sound evolves more to a style Im not a big fan of anymore. More and more
hardstyle / Special-D type of "trance" / etc is coming out. Not really my taste
I myself see myself moving towards progressive / progressive trance and such more and more

<Lord_h8r>
4.- What do you think about those new groups trying to fool people with fakes n shit?
<TGX>
A: I think its absolutely disgusting to see all these new groups (and old groups also sadly) doing fake
releases just to get themselves on shitty bbb's
Im going on a limb here but I dare to say BPM's 1 track promo cdr's are all leeched of soulseek lately.
I can give a couple examples also:
Nikola_Gala_And_Chris_Mozio-Break_The_Rules-CDR-2004-BPM_HOUSE... track is named Rule The Break and was
re-encoded from a 192kbps mp3
Nikola_Gala-Swing_2_Harmony-DEKAY003-CDR-2004-BPM_HOUSE... it says Matthew Dekay Mix on 01 which actually
is the JDK Mix that was leaked to Soulseek the week before... the real Dekay Mix is not even made yet
Kosmas_Epsilon-I_Trance_You-CDR-2004-BPM... Kosmas Epsilon just released his first vinyl and now his
somewhat older tracks suddenly get released as if they were new also... defo fake
Shows again how much those groups nowadays even give a fuck... BPM was a respected group for all I know
back in the day... but they're doing loads of fakes lately
Plenty of more examples but I dont wanna seem like someone who has a problem with BPM or smtn
More and more groups are doing the same thing... (so people dont think I hold something against BPM) its
just pretty remarkable that such a group is into that also
Makes me wonder how many groups are truly capable of doing legit releases nowadays
Got another example... TSP
They do legit releases half the time... but the quality on those releases is so fucking awful that they
just use APE (--alt-preset extreme) for achieving higher VBR rates... and thus fool lots of people that
still believe the higher the bitrate the better the quality (which is true on a regular rip btw)
There should be a decent scanning method so that APE can be banned... we just came so far in implementing
VBR rips to the scene (which normally is a good help in finding fake rels) and already people try to fake
their way out of it
In the Electronic Dance Music scene there's even reconstructing going on... Meaning a dj would play a big
tune and if it gets broadcasted it will be mixed partly as the DJ is mixing it in and out.
The hobby producers can then just add an intro/outro themselves and sometimes even those reconstructions
get released by some groups
You can see I can talk about this forever... there's just something that has to be done to stop the madness
in faking releases

<Lord_h8r>
5.- What's motivating your group to keep releasing music for free?
<TGX>
A: We started of as a bunch of friends trying to do some good releases from time to time and we stayed together
by the music we all love
Nowadays the rippers do it mostly for the XXX rels ofcourse... I mean come on aren't we all
We just like to share the music with eachother and what we get in return is ofcourse a great way to ensure
that we keep on ripping the goods :P
I also love the way the music industry is going with cheap ways to buy new tunes online... I think its a
good improvement that they shift more towards embracing mp3's altho the releases will still be coming from us

<Lord_h8r>
6.- How do you keep yourselves secure, memberwise and sitewise?
<TGX>
A: Security is a key word nowadays in the scene... With people getting busted and sites going down its very
important to us to remain secure... Every TGX member is added to the bnc's to connect to IRC and we're very
careful in picking the sites we affil... depends on other affils and if we know the people involved
Nowadays I rather drop a site than affil another... there's too much shit going on to really know whats
the best thing to do sometimes
It just has come to the point that if you dont secure yourself you're simply history sooner or later. All the
new groups have a tendency of taking on everyone that can do a good release and its pretty easy that way
to infiltrate our scene... or another scene for that matter
We carefully select our members and are pretty much a closed group. If we would take a new member that could
only be someone that has been a friend of a ripper or someone we have known for some time already
Being closed has its disadvantages but we're doing a steady amount of good releases every month so we got
nothing to worry really
I like the way we are now... I know each member pretty much since the start of TGX some even good friends
in real life and we have never _really_ kicked anyone from the group that was a real member. Ofcourse there's
people that didnt pass the recruitment period but I think not having to kick a member pays off security-wise
There's no one holding grudges against us (afaik :) so thats not something we wouldnt have to worry about
considering leaking vital information of somesort

<Lord_h8r>
7.- Wich groups do you think are keeping the scene alive?
<TGX>
A: Its pretty dificult to point out a few groups that keep the scene alive... There's plenty of oldschool groups
that are doing a proper job and are a steady factor in the scene. There's also groups that dont stand out in
the crowd and just keep on bringing good releases. gEm is a good example for not standing out and still doing
an awesome job
Looking at my personal taste I'd say I leech very little mp3 releases lately but when I do it would be something
by MiM/MNS/POW/SND/tronik/UTE (no particular order), or TGX ofcourse :) and I always leech the bigger albums
to keep up with the talk of the day. So big thanks to AMRC/CHR/ESC/FNT/PMS/RNS/TWCMP3/XXL and such for those rels
Many respect goes out to the above groups also... I think its okay to use all of them as example for keeping
the scene alive... Im not really into groups mentioned by AMRC in the first h8zine but Im pretty sure I can
trust them to know their side of the scene so both interviews would be a pretty good overview Id say

<Lord_h8r>
8.- Wich groups should be SCENE BANNED because of the shitty rips?
<TGX>
A: There's so much I already said @ question #4 about shitty rips and fake releases... re-encodes etc etc
Basically for me it boils down to seeing all the groups that do fakes/dupes and such whatsoever being banned
Good examples are FUA/SUT/TSP/TS4L/GRM/BPM/SWE/ICE etc etc
AMRC put it very wisely:
"mainly the groups that are accused/caught all the time of putting out fake releases or releases which
don't meet the quality standards expected of the mp3 scene"
That wraps it up real good for me
Siteops should pay more attention to which groups they affil and check out their past before they go on and
say "aight grp x did 150 rels last month lets take em they rock"
Security should be a standard not something you were told to do but dont really feel the need to

<Lord_h8r>
<TGX>
9.- Who's the best, Sheepnet or NukeNet? Pick only one and explain
Sheepnet is the best. They often do more nukes I approve of. Nukenet has the tendency that if it cant be proved
it cant be nuked even tho its pretty obvious it should be a nuke.
Sheepnet has more balls to do those nukes eventually and thats what I like about em

<Lord_h8r>
10.- Wanna send greetz/hate to any grp/friend in special?
<TGX>
A: Greets go out to all people that support our group and kept on believing in us for over the past 3 years
We've had a bumpy road sometimes but we managed to survive
Special thanks to all the siteops that believed in us over the time and most of them remain good friends at
present day. Greets go out to all the groups that challenge us at the genres we release mainly
again those groups are MiM/MNS/POW/SND/tronik/UTE... all remain close friends also
Hate goes to all the groups that think they can keep getting away with doing fakes/dupes etc... They will be
stopped eventually
Also I feel the need to ask groups doing APE to shift to APS instead so we get a universal encoding system

<Lord_h8r>
11.- Do you think this mp3 zine will make it and survive? Wanna suggest any question, section, whatever?
<TGX>
A: You defo gotta give more hate to keep it alive... last week it had a bit hate but not enough... I didnt see
anything about the autotraders that got caught last week and the new couriergroup BRB or was that this week :)
Its good to read about other groups and how they think about the scene and keep themselves secure... might
help us with some ideas ourselves that we can maybe implement
I think you dont want to spread this around to all sites tho... I wouldnt like seeing our views and other groups
views on security and the scene on Kazaa
Maybe you can get a couple secure sites that want to implement a site h8zine command or something to grab the
latest h8zine
Just a thought Im sure there's other ways around it also

<Lord_h8r>
12.- Define scene friendship, eleet, otto
<TGX>
A: Ive made a lot of friends in the scene... Its a good way of keeping on top of things... Info about security
risks gets spread easily and I know my friends are secure. That way they can build on me and vice versa.
There's even a couple that I know in real life or just met... Its a cool way to talk about stuff I cant normally
talk about (with security and all)
Eliteness... well yeah what to say. I might have a bit of it myself from time to time, I dont see it as a big
deal as long as its not out of proportion or misplaced. Sometimes I even think its getting to the point that
everyone that supposedly stands out in the crowd automatically is leet. When they easily could just be doing
their job. Its such an easy way to put a tag on people. On the other hand there's some pretty annoying people
around that act real tough and seem to know all. Its just a matter of personality... maybe some of those people
dont have enough of a social life or another outlet to relief some of the pressure on that feature
Ive got enough friends to keep my feet on the ground I guess
Autotrading is just pretty lame in my opinion... Takes out the fun of trading for the "honest" couriers.
Im sure plenty of people use it and just sit behind the pc so they dont get caught... but as seen so many times
they all get caught, eventually.

Comments: thanks to TGX to give us a chance to interview'em. About the site h8zine command, yeh, its a good idea
We'll find someone to code that for us, about autotrading, while we were doing this e-zine during the
week, we added into the intro section a comment for'em (that was before the interview).
The whole interview is interesting, it seems like many groups were waiting for a zine to say what
they feel :).
And we have a winner, SHEEPNET 1 - NUKENET 0 round 1, bad luck nukenet, you see? NO BALLS, NO FANS,
if you dont have the balls to go against those groups releasing crap then you shouldnt call yourself
nukers and actually, you shouldnt be added in sites because you aint doing your job. BTW what is a
nuke NET? I mean...the name sounds evil! but all i see is a SUPPORTCRAPNET... Im pretty sure that
a lot of people wouldnt mind if you just go and set some autonuke with a randome reason like FAKE
CRAP REENCODE WEBRIP STOLEN on the HOMO groups, since we want to teach ya how to nuke, look at the
end of the zine for a TIP!
