Introduction

Once again there is little time in my life at the moment to spend on smolZINE issues but I'm releasing nonetheless. Short, hopefully slightly sweet and staying on schedule one way or another :-).

Hidden (and not so hidden) Gems

dimkr

Dima's capsule has posts cover FOSS, linux and other topics like sandals and being a fellow K. Mandla appreciator. Dima also is developing a command line gemini client called gplaces.

Degrowther

I’m a middle-aged scientist and technologist living with my family on the east coast of North America.

and

I worry about climate change and the ecological and political changes that it will bring, but I’m also an unabashed utopian. I believe that we not only deserve to live in a better world, but that one is within our reach.

News

Antenna

ew0k has been making some changes to Antenna with the big feature being a rework of how submissions are processed. Now posts you submit to Antenna will appear immediately instead of being added to a queue. Additionally there is now a testing server for trying out new features and changes. You can checkout some of the other details in the post linked below.

Gemcurses

There is a newcomer in the list of terminal gemini clients and it is called Gemcurses. Written in C and still young but looking very functional already.

Recreation

Stinky Pinky
by kelbot

To play Stinky Pinky you will need to read the two descriptions below. They each describe a word and the two words rhyme. Example: 1. Smelly, 2. Finger; Answer: Stinky Pinky. Get it? You can email your answer to the address found at the bottom of each smolZINE to confirm if you are correct. The first to answer wins...uhhh I haven't figured that out yet so my congrats will have to do for now.

  1. Speechless performer
  2. Dirty deeds
