Jerusalem: The Three Roads to the Holy Land
In the Desert
As Adrian, after the initial scene, you find yourself in an oasis in the desert, in the year 1552 of the Christian era and 930 after the Hegira of Muhammad.
Facing a rocky wall, turn your view towards the desert. To your left, there is a pit. Go to the right and pick up the mat under the wasp nest, the harness fragment from the ground, and the stone near the fire. Combine the harness with the stone to create a sling. Return to the starting point, face the desert, and move forward.
After the cutscene, go to the pit, use the mat on the pit, click on the sand to the right of the pit and place it on the mat; pick up the palm branch on the edge of the pit and use it on the footprints to the right.
Once inside the pit, click on the mat and then use the sling on the wasp nest.
Talk to Ozdemir, and you’ll have to solve a small quiz: starting from the last column on the right, place Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad in the correct order, and then: under Moses, place the Torah, under Jesus, the Gospel, and under Muhammad, the Quran.
Jerusalem
Talk to Ozdemir and enter the city.
Governor’s Gardens
Speak with Ozdemir again.
Governor’s Hall
The Governor informs you that his daughter Hykmah has been kidnapped, and along with her, the Dagger of Abraham was stolen. It seems that the culprit is a certain Hayyat, who mysteriously escaped from prison.
The Prison
Talk to Ozdemir. Examine the panels on the right wall; zoom in on the empty birdcage; zoom in on the door lock.
Library
Talk to the Sufi and read the books he gives you. The codes to enter are:
- TORAH: 0 - 2 - 6 - 6
- GOSPELS: 1 - 5 - 4 - 4
- QURAN: 2 - 1 - 7 - 7
For those curious about how to find these numbers, the solution is as follows: carefully examine the three panels attached to the prison walls; each panel features the symbols of the three religions: the Star of David for Judaism, the cross for Christianity, and the crescent for Islam.
Starting with the left panel, you’ll see an Arabic symbol you need to note, then next to the Star of David, the number 4553, and next to the cross, the number 793.
The middle panel shows two letters (AE) and next to the Jewish symbol, the number 3804.
The right panel displays two Hebrew symbols that you should note, and next to the Star of David, the number 6.
With the calendar and alphabet in hand, you’ll see that the Arabic letter corresponds to the number 2. Then, consulting the calendar, you’ll find that the Hebrew year 4553 corresponds to the Christian year 793 and the Muslim year 177, so the number to enter for the Quran is “2177.”
As for the Gospel, the letters AE correspond to the numbers 1, 5, and the Hebrew year 3804 to the Christian year 44, so the number to enter for the Gospel is “1544.”
In the Hebrew panel, the letters correspond to the numbers 2, 6, to which you add the 6 already written, and for the Torah, the resulting number is “0266.”
The keywords turn out to be: FAITH, HOPE, LOVE.
The Prison
Talk to Ozdemir.
Garden
Talk to the calligrapher, who cannot help you because he has lost his lenses.
Turn left, then left again until you see a small water basin. Pick up the lenses lying on the right edge. A magpie steals them from you.
Go back one step and look up to see its nest in the tree. Return to the calligrapher and continue, turning left until you find yourself on the opposite side of the basin, where you can pick up a forked stick. Go back to the nest and retrieve the lenses to give to the calligrapher.
Now you can ask him all the questions.
Prison
Zoom in on the birdcage, which now contains a bird, and take the small message from its leg. Return to the garden and give the parchment to the calligrapher. Now you have the map to visit various parts of the city.
Church of the Holy Sepulchre
Now that you have some coins, you can move around using the map of Jerusalem.
Madrassa Tankyzzia (Cranial School)
Talk to Al Wahid and then to the boy. A mysterious mark has appeared on the wall that the boy is trying in vain to erase. Use the forked stick on the lamp above. Talk to Al Wahid again, and when you enter, speak with everyone you can. Leave, go towards the alley, and from the map, choose...
Ramban Synagogue
Upon arrival, pick up the sewing kit, then go and talk to the rabbis, who explain the same problem with the mark that won’t disappear. Talk to the other man present, take the bows and the hemp cloth, then go to the other side of the square and pick up the second piece of hemp cloth. In your inventory, combine the bows with the first cloth, then with the second, and use the sewing kit to create a wind trap.
Go to the mark in the middle of the square and use the wind trap on it, then talk to everyone who allows you to do so.
Church of the Holy Sepulchre
Talk to the people on the right, who will tell you they are hungry. Go talk to the men further back and the priest near the door. Go to the mark on the ground, drop a coin, then all the others. You will be allowed into the church. Talk to the priest. Look around, and when you leave, a man will give you a date.
Go with Ozdemir to the Governor. After the conversation, take the knife from the table to the right near the guard at the door. Use the knife on the date, and you will find a message inside.
Library
Talk about everything with the Sufi.
Prison
On the table near the door, take the knife, the rag, the jug, and the nail. To the left of the door, take the empty reed pen, the colors, and the bowl.
In your inventory, fill the bowl with the jug, then use the color and dip the reed pen. You’ll have a filled reed pen. Zoom in on the wall panels and use the reed pen on them by clicking when it lights up: first on the panel to the right, then on the one to the left, and finally in the center.
In your inventory, combine the nail with the rag and use it on the candle, then use the heated nail on the panel again to reveal a message.
The Holy Sepulchre – Hayyat’s House
Talk to the woman and enter. Examine the chest near the door. It is locked and has three keys that you need to find.
Go to the bedroom; on the left, there is a hatch through which you can glimpse another room. Observe the painting on the left wall next to the hatch. On the ground, next to it, between the hatch and the chest, there is a pole to pick up.
Exit, turn right under the arch, and look up. You’ll see the external facade of the hatch. Use the forked stick on it, and it will open.
Return inside and enter the now-opened room, where you can take the oil lamp, the graver, the key with the Star of David, and the bellows.
Exit the house and go right again. Talk to the blacksmith, who will provide you with a nozzle for the bellows.
Return to the house. On the way to the bedroom, on the left wall, there is a small painting. Remove it to reveal a niche where you can see a key in transparency. Do not try to take it. Combine the nozzle with the bellows if you haven’t already, and use it on the niche to suck up the poison. Then use the graver to break the membrane and take the key with the cross.
Now go to the bedroom. At the foot of the bed, there is a chest; open it, move the cloth, and you’ll find a jar full of scorpions. Use the bellows on the jar to kill the scorpions, then use the bellows again on the jar to suck up the poison, and finally, use the graver to break it and take the third key with the crescent moon.
Now you can go to the chest and open it by placing each key in its corresponding slot.
Inside the chest, you will find a golden cross, a prayer rug, and a talith.
Ramban Synagogue
Turn left and talk to the man alone, showing him the talith (prayer shawl). During the conversation, you’ll learn that the knots of the fringes hide a symbolic language, and the shawl says: "God is ONE," a phrase associated with number 39 of the Kabbalah. After exhausting all topics, go to the...
Wailing Wall
Move forward once, turn left, and talk to Rabbi Kalonymus. He will tell you that in addition to the language of the knots, there is another message written in a fine silver thread on the shawl: Burgos 5252, which corresponds to 1492 AD, the year of the expulsion of the Jews from Spain.
Church of the Holy Sepulchre
Go to the church and talk to the priest, giving him the golden cross.
Madrassa Tankyzzia
Talk to Al Wahid, giving him the prayer rug.
Church of the Holy Sepulchre
You find yourself talking to the blacksmith when suddenly a woman cries out, "Fire!" As soon as you can, pick up the iron bar to the left of the blacksmith, go towards the arch, and throw the bar at the fleeing man. You will obtain a charred manuscript.

Talk to the Sufi.
Ibrahim’s Quarters
Save the game. No matter what you say to the guard, you won’t get anywhere.
Now you have an overhead view. When the guard turns away and doesn’t see you, you need to hide in the first, second, and then third niche on the right until you reach the door in front that leads to Ibrahim’s quarters. If you’re caught, you’ll die. This task isn’t difficult; you just need to pay attention to where the cursor is truly active, that is, when Adrian is hidden, click in the center of the corridor, not near the wall.
Once inside Ibrahim’s quarters, turn left and you’ll see a chest locked with a combination lock. Still on the left, there’s a sword with the inscription 932. Enter these numbers into the combination and take the chest.
Go to the bedroom. On the table, take the jug, and proceeding further left, under the pot, take the empty brazier. Even further left, on the table, take the incense burner with caramel, the needle, and the spatula.
Go to the window, and on the windowsill, find a dagger. Go to the antechamber; to the left of the door is a fireplace. Use the empty brazier on the fireplace to fill it, then return it to its place under the pot. Use the jug of water on the pot, add the caramel and the spatula.
Once the concoction is ready, use the needle in the melted sugar and then in the chest lock, which will open, revealing letters that you need to take and read.
Save the game and exit the room. Once past the guard, exit to the end and go to the...
Council Chamber
Talk to the Governor, showing him Hayyat’s letter.
Library
Talk to the Sufi. You will need to reconstruct the mosque, which is a very simple puzzle.
Council Chamber
Talk to the Governor again.
King Solomon’s Mines
Move forward once. Talk to your companions. Move forward once again, then pick up the bucket on the left and the scroll on the right. Move forward, but not into the gallery near the bucket.
Once you reach the flames, take the wooden planks on the right and place them on the cart.
After crossing the fire, continue forward until you see patterned tiles on the ground. Click on the center-bottom tile, cross the bridge, and you’ll find yourself facing an iron gate, and below, more tiles with symbols and scattered pegs, also bearing the tile symbols.
The solution to this puzzle is incredibly simple. Dip the peg with the symbols of Aries, Pisces, and Leo into the bucket, then insert it into the hole in the center-bottom tile. This will give you the key to open the gate.
After the cutscene and the dialogue with the characters, when Ibrahim threatens Hykmat, click on Hayyat, then watch the final cutscene.
