Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened
London
Take the matchbox from the desk and exit the apartment. Once on the street, talk to the newsboy, then head left, ask the bobby standing at the corner for information, continue on, greet the flower seller, and enter the Barnes bookstore. Talk to the bookseller and pick up the two books on pirates and fish, placed on the furniture to the left of the counter. Before leaving, observe the footprint on the wooden ladder near the entrance and the flower vase in the display window. Exit to the street and head back towards Baker Street. When Watson appears, pass through the villa's gate and speak with Captain Stenwick and Sergeant Rufles. Head into the garden to the left until you reach a hut. Examine the lock on the door and pick up the piece of fabric from the door's lintel, then enter and observe the drawing on the floor; analyze the bowl on the ground and, using the magnifying glass, pick up the opium ball. Leave the hut and continue around the back; observe the footprints on the ground: using the magnifying glass, pick up the scale on the upper left and note the missing nail in one of the two soles, then using the tape measure, determine the size (forty). Now exit the villa and circle around to the left: after the alley, pick up the ladder and lean it against the villa's perimeter wall, collect the piece of linen. Return to your apartment on Baker Street. Sit at the analysis table, pick up the bottles of water, alcohol, solvent, and acid. Use the opium ball with the microscope, dissect it with the scalpel, and collect the grains with tweezers. Now place the grains on the device to the left, use acid on them and the matches on the machine. Place the piece of fabric under the microscope and use the tweezers to pull out a black tuft.
As soon as you take control of Dr. Watson, head to the newsboy and talk to him to get information about the disappearance of the Princess's bodyguard. Now go to the Barnes bookstore, talk to the bookseller, and pick up the book on the Maori placed on the furniture in front of the main library. Exit and return home to speak with Holmes. When asked about the criminal's workplace, answer "DOCK". Now go down to the street and take the carriage, then head to the banks of the Thames.
Enter the pub in front of you, talk to the bartender to gather some information, then exit the pub, go left and straight ahead, across the bridge and down the staircase, until you come across Harper's house, marked by a large red anchor painted on the wall. Try knocking on the door, but you'll find that no one is home. Then enter the house directly opposite and speak with the woman kneeling by the altar. After the conversation, pick up the fake silver brooch on the altar and exit, collect the rope leaning on the barrels next to the entrance of Harper's house. Now return to the pub and speak again with the bartender, examine the table behind the curtain and observe the four symbols carved into the wood. Exit and continue past the Nepalese family's house, then to the right, until you encounter a drunk postman. When you are done with him, continue to the left, go up the staircase, and when the road curves to the left, you will see an alley in front of you. Cross it and you will come to a clearing, with bottles on the ground. Select the bottle in your possession to hold it in your hand, and knock on the door of the smugglers. In this way, you will receive the package lost by the postman. Knock again holding the silver pendant. Return to the pub, open the inventory and use the knife on the package, then deliver the wooden prosthetic to the drunk guy; in exchange, you will receive the hook. Go to warehouse number 12, open the inventory and combine the rope with the hook, then approach the front door and use it on the broken grate above. Now, in Watson's role, go to the right side of the warehouse and clean the dirty window. Attach the hook to the ground padlock, exploiting the vertical swing (move the mouse up and down). Once inside, collect the blood-stained pin and the diary page on the ground. On the ground to the right, there is a crowbar: pick it up and use it to open the two crates and collect the lantern. Then climb onto the planks at the back left and push the pot in line with the tap, then go down and, in the corner to the left of the entrance, go and operate the valve. Now push the pot all the way, in line with the other cable and hook it to it. Then approach the hatch and click first on the longer cable, which hangs, then on the handle, to hook them. Finally, go cut the rope securing the pot, to open the hatch. Select the lantern from the inventory and descend. When you are in the room, in front of the door with symbols, you must press those engraved on the side walls, namely: the first and second (starting from above) of the left triad and the first and third (again starting from above) of the right triad. At this point the door will open and you can proceed. In the large room, first survey the perimeter of the room: starting from your right, you will find a basket with black material, from which you can take a grain; then at the back, behind a column, a jacket on the ground containing a sheet; in the other corner a table on which are placed a black metal package, some opium, and a jug with an opiate liquid; finally, in the corner near the entrance where you came in, there's a table with a box of silver pendants. After the survey, head to the sacrificial altar at the top of the staircase. Observe the corpse, analyzing its face and both hands: in the right hand examine the fingertip of the index finger, in the left examine the hole in the middle finger. Collect the broken statuette from the ground and use the sheet in your possession on the symbols engraved in the corner to the left of the statue, then go over them with graphite to get a copy. Approach the jacket again, on the ground, near the column at the foot of the altar staircase: you will notice a black stain, examine it. At the end of the sequence (ugh!), you will return to Baker Street.
Sit at the analysis table and collect the usual vials (water, solvent, alcohol). Open the inventory and use the knife on the metal box to obtain some white powder. Place it under the microscope and use tweezers to extract some granules. Place them on the other machine and use the matches on it to heat the substance. After chatting with Watson, head back to the harbor.
Enter the pub and ask the bartender for information about the customs officer, then go outside and proceed to the shack just past Harper's house (the one with the red anchor). Pick up the sheet hanging on a crate and examine the goods register. Go to warehouse 16 (opposite the pub), examine the front door, then analyze the footprints on the ground: use the magnifying glass to pick up the key and observe the highest footprint to note the missing nail in the sole, then use the tape measure on the central footprint to ascertain the size. Now follow the footprints, which will lead you to a door beneath the lighthouse. Use the key you have to open it and collect the document. Return to Baker Street.
Answer Holmes's question by typing “SWITZERLAND”.
Switzerland
Knock on the door of the institute and speak with the janitor, then approach the counter and speak with the nurse. After exchanging a few words with the doctor, you'll witness a particular scene: what you see masquerading as a detective is Sherlock Holmes in disguise! After the sequence, in the detective's shoes, collect the syringe and water from the table behind you, then use them together. You'll find yourself in a cell. To stage your presence on the bed, you'll need to collect the brass vase and the roll of blankets, then place everything on the bed. Finally, place on them the hat and coat you have. From behind the bed "occupied" by the smelly guy, retrieve the spoon and the pot. Approach the cell lock and use the spoon on it. To pick the lock, you'll need to reproduce the sequence of numbers from 1 to 10, in the middle row, corresponding to the lock cylinder. Considering the 5 rows (including the central cylinder), execute the following movements: 10 in the fourth row, 3 in the first, 9 in the fourth, 7 in the second, 6 in the second, 2 in the fifth, 5 in the second, 4 in the second, 3 in the second, 2 in the second, 8 in the fourth; now you just need to position from 2 to 10 in the middle row, creating the sequence from 1 to 10 and thus opening the lock. Go right, then turn left. Examine the message on the door of the lab (the first on the left), open it to find a nurse. Crouch and approach the counter in front of you: collect from the lower part three syringes and the sedative; open the inventory and pour the sedative into each syringe. Return to the corridor and proceed in front of you, until you meet Maurizio. After a brief chat, continue in the corridor, to the last door on the right, the darker one. Examine the crack in the wall to the left of the door, to collect the key, then use it to open it. Inside the storage room, collect the crowbar on the ground and the measuring tool immediately to the left, on the stones; use it on the pipes leaning on the crates and collect the 16-millimeter one; open the inventory and combine it with the 15-millimeter syringe, thus obtaining a blowgun. Now return to Maurizio and give him the crowbar. Go back, towards your cell and take the corridor that will lead you to the staircase to the upper floor. Go up and use the spoon on the cabinet, to get a nurse's coat, then collect the bunch of keys on the ground, near the door on the left. Now cross the door to the right of the cabinet and go to the courtyard, on the left, by the aviary. Talk to the patient and Bauer, then approach the fountain, in the left corner, and fill the pot with water. Return to the lab below, holding the blowgun. Approach the nurse from the left, staying crouched, to incapacitate him. Enter the cell where the janitor is, examine his body, then observe the barrels on the ground, collect the package with the black edelweiss from the shelf, examine the pink crystals and the bottles of chlorine. Turn around and collect the letter from the inventory book. Return to the corridor of cells, proceed to the end, turn left, open the door. Do not turn left immediately, but continue straight, then turn and talk to the patient named Baker: he will ask for the pink crystals. Go to the lab to get them and bring them to him. He will ask you to dissolve them in water: open the inventory and combine them with the pot full of water. Give the mixture to Baker and "collect" the cart nearby. Return to the lab and take the doll resting on the furniture immediately to the left, then go near your cell, open the door and proceed, towards Gerda's cell. Give her the doll, to receive a key. Go upstairs and go to open the door of Dr. Muller's office, in the cloister. Collect the vase holder hanging on the wall, the glasses, and the letter from the desk, then proceed left and, in the last room, collect the key from the shirt hanging in the closet. Go out and open the aviary, using the newly collected key. Go back to the lab, use the pot on the barrel of potash, and take a bottle of chlorine from the shelf. Use the pot full of potash on the measuring device on the first counter, closer to the door. Go up to the cloister and fill the bottle with water from the fountain, return to the lab and measure it. Now open the inventory and combine the chlorine with the bottle, then the bottle with the pot: the smoke device is ready. Go to the entrance of the kitchen (facing the cloister) and, holding the smoke device, open the door. Now that the coast is clear, enter, collect the letter from the cabinet opposite the entrance and the roast beef rope on the table. Go back down: near Baker's cell, there is a double gate leading to the basements. To pass, you must devise a way to activate the two levers on the nearby wall. Activate the left one, then use the vase holder on the second lever, then position the cart underneath it and finally attach the roast beef rope to the cart. But you're missing something: you need to retrieve the anvil from the storage room! When you have it in the inventory, place it as a weight in the vase holder. Now all you have to do is cross the first threshold, pull the rope on the ground and proceed to the lower floor. Once in the basements, go talk to the patient Wolff, in the first cell in front of you. Then take the nearby corridor, turn left and follow the curve to the right. Open the second door (the wooden one) with the spoon. The mechanism is always the same, here are the moves to perform: 9 in the fifth row, 3 in the first, 7 in the second, 8 in the second, 9 in the second, 1 in the fifth, 5 in the fourth, 10 in the second, 4 in the fourth, 3 in the fourth, 2 in the fourth, 6 in the first; now reposition the tumblers from 1 to 10 in the middle row, i.e., in the lock cylinder. Enter the room, examine the butcher's tools at the bottom left, observe the well, moving you can see a human remains inside it, finally collect the key on the ground in the corner to the right of the door. Go out of the room, crouch down to observe the bloody shoeprints on the right. Retrace your steps down the corridor and turn left, to arrive at Dr. Gygax's office. Use the newly collected key to enter. Examine the book on the small table immediately to the right, the human skull, then open the file cabinet and analyze Wolff's medical file; collect the document from above the desk and the classroom key. Take the poker from the fireplace and use it to force the dark door, in front of the desk. Enter the torture room, examine the bed, then approach the desk in the right corner to observe the dead bird and Dr. Gygax's notebook. Return to the office and use the poker to open the desk drawer, collect the documents. Exit the office and go back upstairs, head towards Baker's cell, then continue and turn right. Open the classroom door with the relevant key, collect the letter on the lectern and the fake beard in the cabinet. Return to Dr. Gygax's office, consult the file cabinet and pull out the medical file of the anonymous patient (the tag is empty). Combine the glasses with the fake beard and go to Wolff, pretending to be Dr. Schwartz. Now go to activate the extinguished torch outside Dr. Gygax's office, then activate the one in front of Wolff's cell, finally activate the one in front of the secret passage, outside the well room. Cross the passage and talk to the Illuminated. To his question, "Who am I?", respond by typing "LIGHT OF THE ABYSS". At the end of the cheerful chat, return to Dr. Gygax's office and approach the elevator. Pull the left rope three times and the right one once, take the elevator; thus, you will find yourself in the laundry. Open the cell on the right using the spoon, then talk to the prisoner and use the medicine with the symbol of the black edelweiss on him. Go up the stairs, collect the hat and coat from the shelves, and cross the door to conclude this part. When you are on the train, respond to Holmes's question by writing “LOUISIANA”.
New Orleans
As soon as you disembark, go right and speak with the man holding a rifle. Give him some money to obtain new information. Turn around and open the light blue wooden door to the left, then follow the signs to reach the hut area. Follow the pier to the end and speak with old Champagne. Pay him and you will obtain further information. Head back toward the harbor. Along the way, you will be robbed: all you need to do is chase the criminal until you reach the sheriff (don't worry, the thief will never run away, even if you stay still looking for the right passage, the scoundrel will wait for you). After meeting this most upright defender of the law, open the map and head to the French Quarter. Approach the gate where the maid is, talk to her, then enter the stable, examine the nails on the table and proceed to the back of the house. Pick up a metal brace from the ground, near the flowers by the fountain, then, using the knife, take some white flowers. Examine the footprints at the bottom of the stairs, then follow the trail to the garden, until you find more footprints to examine with the magnifying glass. Try to pass through the small gate, but you will be stopped by mosquitoes. Head toward the house. Using the knife, open the left door at the back. Cross the first door in front of you to access the kitchen. Observe the ham and take the basin from the sink. Now, with Watson, go back outside and fill it in the fountain, then bring it to the horse to let it drink. Return to Holmes. Continue beyond the door at the far right, open another door in front to enter the living room. Observe the ashtray on the round table to the left, the fireplace, and the corpse, analyzing with the magnifying glass the fingers of the gardener; finally, collect the bottle of champagne from the sideboard. Cross the other door, observe the bloodstains on the floor, try to open the door in front of you, then open the one on the right (the last remaining on the ground floor). Observe the painting hanging on the wall, examine the clothes and move the bed, use the knife on the floorboard and collect the jewel. Return to the hallway and examine the footprints on the floor. Go upstairs, enter the master bedroom, collect the letter on the desk, two books from the bookcase, and the metal tube from the table in front of the bed. At this point, if you have examined all the footprints inside and outside the house, Watson should alert you to the presence of a safe in the bedroom. The combination to open it is: 1223 2424 3426. Take the key and use it to open the other door on this floor, near the stairs. At the maid's scream, rush into the stable: to open it, pick up and use the log nearby. Collect the hammer "under" the horse and return to the house. In the newly opened room, on the first floor, use the metal cylinder on the table in the left corner (on the strange drawing), collect the horn on the desk and use it on the trophy with the goat's head. Observe the photo. On the floor, in the center of the room, there is a raised tile; go out onto the balcony, take the lemon plant, come back inside and place it over the tile that activates the mechanism. Now approach the huge painting with the iguana and use the metal stick you have in inventory on the reptile's eye. Enter the secret room, approach the desk and collect the two documents and the photo. Return to the stable and speak with Watson. At the end of the entire sequence, go back into the house and take a lemon from the plant you placed in the trophy room. Return to Watson and talk to him, holding the lemon. Now cross the path with the mosquitoes, examine the bloodstains on the ground, proceed to the pier, and examine the rope. At the end of the conversation, head to the fisherman's shack on the map. Speak to him and give him the bottle of champagne, and you will receive some wooden planks and a lantern. Now return to town and board the red boat. Speak with the lady at the entrance, holding the bouquet of flowers. At the end of the chat with the blonde, open the map and go back to the French Quarter. When Holmes asks who has the ring with the seal, respond "RACCOON." Enter the house, go to the kitchen and pick up a slice of ham, then go outside and place it on the ground, in front of the tree near the house, where the animal's footprints are. After locating the den, go to the stable and collect the nails from the counter, then go to the house balcony, combine the planks with the nails, and then all with the hammer, to create a ladder. Use it on the wall at the raccoon's den and collect the ring. Enter the trophy room, then the secret room, and use the seal stamped on the ring with the gun cabinet, to open it. Collect the money from the box and a rifle. Go back downstairs and, as soon as you have had a chance to greet the sheriff, quickly return to the balcony, collect the ladder and use it on the wooden railing to descend into the garden. Return to the old fisherman, using the map, and pay him with the money to rent a boat.
The Swamp
Start navigating along the shore until you come across a blue fish trap (it stands out from the others and Holmes will make a different comment). At that point, you should locate a rock nearby stained with blood. Continue past the rock, until you come across a huge tree with bodies hanging from it. Take the rifle and shoot one of the bodies to make it fall into the water and clear the path from the crocodiles. Go to the left of the tree and continue until you reach a makeshift "dock" adorned with friendly skulls. Once on solid ground, observe the man lying on the stone altar to the left. After the scene with the cheerful black servant, observe the body hanging on the right and the cages across the water on the left. Finally, enter the central hut, approach the statue, and place your statuette on the small platform in front of it. Collect the book, go outside and help Watson transport the poor fellow onto the boat.

The translation of the code written by little Davy is “56436 6134”. Go to the bookstore and talk to the bookseller, hand him the book. Open the map and head to the harbor, talk to the bartender. Once you have obtained the key to the back room, use it to open the door to the right of the counter, enter and walk to the back of the room. Collect the photo from the table and examine the nautical chart. Using the cursor, move to the point indicated in the image below.
Go back and talk to the bartender, then open the map and go back to Barnes's bookstore to check on the translation of the obscure volume.
Scotland
Immediately turn right and go up the "little hill" to collect the rope. Head towards the lighthouse, observe the left lion, and pick up the metal bar at the feet of the right lion. Now head to the middle of the three geysers; Holmes will make a comment: from this position, double-click towards the huge ram's head. You will stop in front of a greenish rock. Use the iron bar on it to open a passage underground. Now attach the rope to the dark rock, left of the hole, to lower yourself down. Equip yourself with the lantern and continue along the rock ridge, pick up the dagger near the skeleton. Use the weapon on the obstructed passage to the left, then use the broken dagger to open the way. Continue, once the environment opens up again, head right: drop the hanging skeleton and collect the empty flask. Proceed to the right, to the "distillery": collect the small bottle on the ground, near the skeleton on the right; take the nearby funnel and the broken grate leaning to the left. Go back. Approach the scaffolding in front: there is a sealed crate. Open it using the broken dagger and collect the rags. Continue right, past the debris; after the bridge, continue straight, to find yourself under a huge crack. Use the funnel to call Watson and have him throw you some matches. Turn back and turn right, then right again, to end up in a room full of bones. Collect some, then combine them with the rags and finally dip them in the bottle containing alcohol. Light the newly made torch using the matches. Go back, to the larger room with the scaffolding. From your current position, on the left, you should see a ramp made of two beams that goes up a rock. Examine the beams and climb up, then observe above. Now descend, approach the hook from which the skeleton with the empty flask was hanging and use your lantern on it. Now turn around and pull the rope attached to the rock wall. Return to the beams, use the grate you have in inventory and climb onto it. Use the empty flask on the barrel to fill it with gunpowder. Now you can return to the ground: go pull the rope on the wall again and retrieve the lantern. Head back into the corridor, beyond the debris, turn left and go to the end. Don't worry about the fall and continue the path, climbing from the side. Combine the flask with the rags, then use the bomb on the boulder on the upper left, blocking the passage. Pass beyond, collect the red belt, and proceed. Approach the machine on the left, use the belt with the wheel below, then examine the larger wheel, with symbols. You must rotate the signs of the four circles until all the lights on the right are lit (each circle corresponds to a light). Conclude by pulling the lever on the right. Retrieve the red belt and proceed beyond the door. Use the torch in the third hole from the left (or throw a torch into each hole, taking care to recreate another one each time, until you have located the hole without a river underneath). Combine the belt with the greenish rock in the center, to lower yourself. Walk through the corridor and, when you emerge in a flooded environment, collect the wooden leg stuck in one of the ducts blocked by boulders. Then go around the stalactites and enter the room with the gate. Use the wooden leg on the tile with the round indentation and pass into the treasure room. Collect the scimitar from the skeleton and proceed to the left. When you are in front of the chasm, look up towards the crack in the ceiling and call Watson. Now, in the role of the doctor, turn around, pass the little hill and collect the huge wooden beam; return to the crack and throw it down. Like a true tightrope walker, cross the chasm and proceed until you find yourself inside the lighthouse. Immediately open the front door on your right. Go outside, head straight across, towards the shack; collect the empty bucket on the left and use it on the barrel full of water. Return inside the lighthouse and pour water into all the brass pots that generate green smoke. Finally, turn left, go under the stairs, and pull the two levers to scare off the villain. Climb the stairs to the top floor (where the criminal is waiting) and collect the wooden board on the floor. On the floor, to the right, near the stairs, there is a pool of blood: use the board on it. Arrange the five-pointed star by clicking on the correct symbols. You can make as many attempts as you want and remove the wrong symbols by clicking on them again. Once done, advance towards the criminal to take him down. Continue up, force the door using the iron bar in your possession. After the sequence, answer Holmes' question by typing “STOMACH”. Go up again, use the key you just retrieved to open the last door. After the pleasant chat with the villain of the moment, light the lighthouse. To do this, collect the empty lantern on the ground, insert it under the blue one, operate the valve in the center, collect the blue lantern and insert it under the green one, on the left, then rotate the valve in the center.
Congratulations, you have also completed this Sherlock Holmes adventure!
