The number of voters for the Top 100 has been dropping again after the
deadline of the Internet Games Contest has passed. As I already told you
this was to be expected, as many new voters were only in it for the free
games contest. However, I do expect that the number will not fall back
to the 300 voters it was just before I started the contest. Of course,
the Xmas holidays also have their effect on the voters, so we'll just
have to wait and see.
Some people have mailed me this week asking why they didn't get a list.
Again it appears that the mailer on my system isn't quite reliable.
I don't know what's wrong, but I hope to be able to work around it.
I also must say sorry to all voters who got a copy of an incorrect vote
message this week. This happens when people send their vote message to
top100@xs4all.nl in stead of jojo@xs4all.nl as they are supposed to do.
The top100@xs4all.nl address is for personal use only. It's my mailing
list! Normally I redirect anything that is sent to it, but this time I
accidentally left the window open. (And THAT was because I was trying
to solve that other mailer problem. Sigh.)
Anyway, even though it's still 1994 at the time I write this, the chart
you have here now is the first for 1995. And boy, does it have a lot of
action in it. No less than 8 bullets for hot new games this week! The
last time we had so many fast climbing games was almost a year ago.
Well, enjoy playing them in 1995, and remember...
keep voting.
