Gordon Cooper, discovering the past while aiming for the future

The main secret to discovering the mysteries of our universe is to thoroughly understand our planet to discover our real past and the true history of mankind. Very often, however, the truth is hard to face and can cause embarrassment, revealing "uncomfortable" realities that are difficult to accept. On these basic concepts, the American astronaut Gordon Cooper wrote and published his book entitled "Leap of Faith, an astronaut's journey into the unknown" in 2000.

In his essay, Cooper addresses the controversial topic of coexistence in our universe, between the human race and possible alien civilizations from the interesting point of view of a spaceman, who in life is in close contact with the infinite spaces of our solar system. However, this time, I would like to focus on just one page of Gordon's book... precisely number 189. We have a detailed description of one of the latest collaborations between NASA and National Geographic, to discover the mysteries of Mexico and the Mesoamerican Mother Civilizations, in which Cooper himself arrived, together with a crew of researchers, on a small island in the Gulf of Mexico.

The group was welcomed by several members of a local village, who directed them to an archaeological site located nearby, of clear Olmec origin.

I quote Cooper's words verbatim:

"The Mexican government allocated some funds for the excavations. The age of the ruins was confirmed...3000 BC" "Among the finds that intrigued me most were celestial navigation symbols and formulas which, once translated, turned out to be mathematical formulas, STILL IN USE TODAY FOR NAVIGATION. As well as accurate reproductions of constellations, some of which would have been discovered only with modern telescopes. This made me wonder: why did they have symbols for celestial navigation if they did not travel the heavens? Did this advanced knowledge develop simultaneously and independently in three different places in the ancient world? And if not, how did it spread? this knowledge from Egypt, to Crete to Mexico in this case reason suggests that they were helped... BY WHOM?

Let us try to delve deeper, as far as we are allowed, into some notions about the Olmec civilization and the embarrassment it has caused among historians in recent decades. The recognition of the existence of the Olmec Civilization by the official bodies and professionals was the result of long years of controversies and cultural clashes. In fact, Mexican national traditions have for years attributed their origins to the ancestors belonging to the Mayan and Inca lineage.

Only during the last years of the 1800s, precisely in 1864, did we have the first "anomalous" findings not attributable to the two aforementioned civilisations. The discovery referred in detail to the reproduction of a human head. At first it was "scandalously" stated that the clearly African somatic features, large and flat nose, black skin and large lips, were simply the result of an archaeological and artistic distortion of the Mayan people themselves. But when similar statues were discovered, with countless and detailed elements attributable to the cultures of the black continent, we gradually moved on to the first studies on the dating of the finds.

Initially there was talk of 250 BC but this was evidently unlikely and reliable. In fact, by continuing the excavations it was possible to push the dating back to 1250 BC. The more ancient the origins of the Olmecs became, the more the national pride of the "Maya and Aztec" supporters was affected. For several decades the national authorities defined all the elements available to redesign their origins, a simple result of chance. But the hilarious discovery of a "toy" figurine found in Jalapa, near Veracruz (so to speak where Hernan Cortes landed in 1519) definitively silenced all attempts at historical concealment. A simple and rudimentary stone elephant on 4 wheels generated the obvious question: "Given the existence of the Olmec people as certain, if they had not had African origins, how is it possible that they managed to reproduce an animal that was completely ABSENT in America Latin, the author for obvious reasons, at least once in his life should have seen or heard about it...In both cases there was the certainty of relationships and contacts between the African peoples and the Olmecs"

But at that point, what shocked everyone was no longer the original strain of belonging of the American peoples, but HOW the cultures of the black continent traveled across the oceans, for distances that were unthinkable at the time to reach America and give origins to the native peoples of the Olmecs? Or rather WHO WERE HELPED BY?

With the elements available we can objectively theorize that the Mother Civilization that interacted with the African peoples, supporting them in the archaic colonizing enterprise had the following characteristics:

  1. An in-depth knowledge of the universe, of the stars, of the constellations and above all of the mathematical formulas necessary for navigation and not only for the study of the sky, therefore with a precise practical purpose and that is: FLYING;
  2. An indisputable propensity and ability for navigation and territorial colonization, to the point of allowing him the long trans-oceanic crossing and the subsequent colonization of the new continent;
  3. An extraordinary knowledge of time and astrology as it helped the Mesoamerican peoples in the creation of the first calendars that preceded the Mayan ones. Furthermore, it is right to open a small but fascinating parenthesis on the matter. Among the three Olmec calendars, the best known is the Long Count calendar which foresees the start of an Enigmatic Day One (our equivalent of before and after Christ, an extraordinary event for Christians marked by the birth of Jesus of Nazareth.) The scholars they established that Day One coincided with August 13, 3113 BC, DATE OF THE BIRTH OF THE OLMEC CIVILIZATION, an extraordinary event for all the civilizations of Latin America. But 3113 BC "strangely" marks precisely the exact date of the exile of Thoth and his (African) followers from Egypt at the hands of his brother Ra (beginning of the reign of the pharaohs), towards the ends of the world for the colonization of new lands...EXTRAORDINARY COINCIDENCE or HISTORICAL TRUTH?

Do you want to know the fate of the most precious artifact in Latin America, that is, the little elephant that attributes the true birth of American civilizations? Mysteriously disappeared, along with the original Olmec calendars engraved on three columns in Veracruz.
