Orange Dreamsicle Cake Recipe

Experience the delight of our Orange Dreamsicle Cake, a dessert bursting with bright citrus flavors and a smooth, creamy texture. Perfect for any celebration or as a treat to brighten any day.

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

1 box (15 ¼ oz) of white cake mix
1 cup of cold milk
½ cup of orange juice
½ cup of vegetable oil
1 oz of French vanilla pudding mix
3 oz of orange Jello
4 large eggs
For the Frosting:

8 oz of whipped topping
20 oz can of crushed pineapples, drained
1 cup of sour cream
1 cup of shredded coconut
1½ cups of white sugar
½ cup of finely chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation Steps:

Cake Preparation: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
Ingredient Mixing: In a large bowl, blend the cake mix, milk, orange juice, vegetable oil, pudding mix, orange Jello, and eggs until smooth.
Baking: Evenly distribute the batter between the prepared pans and bake for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in pans for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Frosting Creation: In a medium bowl, combine the crushed pineapples, shredded coconut, sugar, sour cream, and whipped topping. Mix well, adding pecans if desired.
Assembling the Cake: Place one layer of the cake on a serving plate, generously apply half the frosting, then top with the second cake layer. Cover the entire cake with the remaining frosting.
Decoration: Optionally, adorn the cake with extra pecans and shredded coconut for a decorative touch.
Why Try Orange Dreamsicle Cake?

Flavorful: The blend of orange juice, Jello, and vanilla pudding results in a refreshing citrus burst in every bite, perfectly paired with the creamy frosting.

Serving and Storage Recommendations:

Serving: For optimal taste and texture, serve the cake chilled.
