I would like to state that I only posted around three times to get it
started and I left my E-mail address for people to send their ideas and
such directly to me but I guess alot of them were so excited they did'nt
think to reply directly to me. In any event if anyone has any more
comments on this topic PLEASE spare this doom-editing list of any more
mail. Send it to:

jh32322@ltec.net

I would also like to thank the list for helping me get this off the
ground and you can count your frags that I won't post again unless its
of an advanced doom-editing nature.

I suppose that's exactly how they function. As for adding new
code that's way beyond my abilities. Maybe you could ask Greg
Lewis, the guy who made DeHackEd.

PS if this IS possible, it raises all sorts of amazing posisibilities!

I have checked ftp.cdrom.com and a couple others, but I cannot locate the
latest version of DEU. Can anyone give me an ftp site, dir and filename of
the latest? I do NOT want a BETA copy. I'm looking for DEU 6.0 ? Is that
possible?

Thanks all;

Hi Michael,

DEU 6.0 does not exist. Look for DEUOS11D.ZIP on ftp.cdrom.com.
This is for OS/2 only. Would you like to be a beat tester?

Happy New Year,

Joel,
Just a quick idea about a Doom 3 episode. It was something that I was
working on, but abandoned due to a lack of time. My story dealt with the Doom
character maybe 20 years in the future. By then the Phobos & Demios bases had
been cleaned up & remodeled extensively. The scientists were also playing
with the teleporters again too.
Things were going great for a while when suddenly, well........ history does
go in circles eh??
I had remodeled & built on E1M1, & had started E1M2 when I realized that
Camerac & Co. would sue my ass off if I distributed a .WAD based on their
work. I started designing new levels (on paper), but haven't really followed
up on it.
Anyway, if you find the idea helpful, please feel free to use it, just let
me know when you upload your .WAD so I can check it out. Happy Linedefing. :)
Joey B.
