- -->player to be using a monster's firing code pointer, there must first be a
- -->target- which requires that you first be injured by whoever you're going to
- -->shoot. Otherwise, the projectiles try to hit you, and therefore do nothing.
- -->It was a novel idea, doing this in firing frames instead of injury frames,
- -->but a useless one.
Understandable. But - have you tried placing a simple player firing frame in
there first? Ie. place a quick single-shot bullet followed by the pointer
from the monster?
Would be quite interesting to see a player chomp somebody to death.
For instance, in firing the chaingun, I added a "tracer" bullet by
increasing the # of frames and throwing in a flying tidbit.
