Hello there.
In the editor that I'm using (Deep 6.22) you can insert the final enemy in a
number of forms:
If you're talking about the thing that you shoot rockets at to end
the level, that is actually a head on a spike (but you can't see it without
no-clipping in level 30). That is Thing no. 88, I think.
The thing that shoots out cubes which become monsters is something
different, and which can't be stopped (I think). That's thing no. 89 for the
shooter, and 87 for the spot(s) where the cubes will land.
I've given you numbers because different editors call them by
different names, like Final Enemy, or Big Boss, or Boss Brain (that's what
you shoot to end the level). The shooter that projects the cubes is usually
called Boss Shooter or something similar.
BTW I'm sure that DEU2 does have these items, or if it doesn't I
think it has an option to enter things in by number (which is why I've given
them to you). Try them and see ... they ought to work on any level (not just
30).
Cheers,
Mark.
