Really? I asked ddt point blank about the idea of
having cameras as objects placed with a map editor as a regular
thing (not visible in the game of course) and he practically
ignored me. So is this sorta thing being done after all? I
think it'd be great when watching an lmp if ya could switch to
an external view (via f12 no doubt) from a camera positioned by
the very author of the level (for pure viewing satisfaction).

If the light level of the sector that is flickering is lower that that of
the surrounding sectors, then it won't have a light level to changfe to,
there must be a sector wityh a light level lower that one that flickers
that is adjacent to it if it is going to flicker.

I'm going to steer this discussion away from DeHacked if possible...
What you would have to do is somehow trick the computer into thinking that
both players were on your computer. As for doing this, I don't have a clue.
Note.. I think I have found a bug in DHE 3.0-- When I try to get it working
with Doom2 version 1.666 or 1.7a, it shows messed up stats in the 'Misc' screen,
so I have to do all my editing for UDoom.

There may be a DHE 3.0a released soon to fix this. Someone else has
mentioned the same thing so I think I'm gonna look into it (probably just
a case of 6 offsets being "fixed" when they were OK in the first place,
or something equally dumb).
