Listen murray, first of all.....Many of the guys from id,
including romero, american, and jay wilbur, come on irc all the
time...most of the time, just like this time, they are only able to
handle a few questions because they don't have the time to get into the
more detailed stuff...most of us on #Doom know that when they come on,
they don't get into real technical stuff, they just won't, its a waste of
time. This particular time, he was on irc for a total of about 5 or 6
minutes, hardly enough time for him to answer most of your questions, let
alone someone type the questions out, it has been our experience that the
ID guys tend to, well....for lack of a better word...ignore..the "tough"
questions, in favor of the easy, one word answer questions. Furthermor,
most of the people on irc who were asking the questions, are players of
the game, they could care less about the client server model, they just
wanna know how many people they can kill, what
weapons they can use, and what kind of hardware they'll need to do it with.
