Scott,
In a post dated April 12th of this year to this list, John announced the
soon to be released Ultimate DOOM. In that same message he indicated
that registered DOOM users would be given special handling.

I don't believe that this is the only place he posted so, you cannot
say he cheated.
Sorry you're out the money you spent but...caveat emptor.
Have a great day,
johnw

I called 1-800-idgames about a week ago and asked about TUD. They said they
that they weren't taking orders for it and I should look for it in retail
stores.

Scott, Romero announced to this group months ago about a potential
upgrade offer for this, and Fingering idsoftware also says that they will
probably release this patch for free.

I didn't say he cheated. I said I felt cheated. I'm not blaming anybody
for my purchase. (I rather like the new episode, actually, although it's
not as good as episodes one or two.)

It was only $30, so it's not that big of a deal, happily.
Well, I stand corrected. My apologies to everyone for complaining
prematurely. My only excuse is that I wasn't on this mailing list then, and
I wasn't regularly following the various Doom newsgroups at that time, either.
Oops :)

You know, since Id was able to add a 4th episode to Doom1, I think it would
have been pretty cool if they could have also added the Super Shotgun.
