I don't know why 5.24 won't work. because I have WinDEU32 5.23 final and it
displays the sprites just fine. You can either get WinDEU32 5.32 final
(available at ftp.cdrom.com) or get DEU for DOS. The 16 bit version should
also work fine if you don't have Win32s, but Win32s are available on the
internet. You may wish to do a net search. Perhaps you could forward this to
the author of WinDEU and he will fix it in the next version.

i can only urge you to think about his request. i would have tried to
help him at ftp.cdrom.com, but it didn't quite fit into the category of
services this particular ftp site offers.
