I love your RADIUS1 WAD (as you know, since you just murdered me on it
tonight), but I think it needs more health plus some backpacks.

For a really great "shotgun duel" WAD, tho (like we were playing tonight),
why not take the center Radium plus the surrounding connected run only. Put
a DM start in each of the 4 outer areas, and pack each with the sawbuck and
full ammo. Make the inner Radium doors where they won't open from within.
When you die, you get reincarnated in one of these outer areas, grab you gun
and ammo, and enter the center. Once you do, the only way to get out is to
die!!! If you run out of ammo, it's fists or chainsaws to the death!

I highly recommend this WAD for DM....it a great hunting WAD, plus it would
be awesome at 4-man. It is one of the most unique and best-designed and
- -built WADs I have ever seen.

P.S. Don't let your head swell up too big, Jimmy, I'll beat you on it one of
these nights.

My opinion - A hunting deathmatch level is all very well, but I
find that it is useless to spend a while shotting someone from a
distance with the single barrel shotgun, only for your 'prey' to
stumble into a medikit or two, or three... it gets frustrating.
I prefer the big weapons, namely the double barrel, with a level
that lets you ambush, stalk and go out and out in the open. I

recently built a level called SMALL.WAD (for obvious reasons)
which had all deathmatch starts in a square with the chaingun, and
then the rest of the weapons (bar the BFG) were available with
certain risks. The good thing about the level is the size of it -
small. And there is one area with four medikits, so if you have
been 'working' on a player, you can hang about the health area to
finish him off when he tries to refuel. Old deathmatch is fairer
because with two evenly matched players, one cannot dominate with
a big gun for long because his health with deteriorate in time.
When played with four people, the scene is alot messier, and a lot
more of a fun deathmatch - If you have ever been in a 4Player
deathmatch and was unable to stop laughing for an hour solid, you
know how playing this wad feels.

Anyway, I can't be bothered to release the wad, but for those like
me who can see the fun side of 4player deathmatch, design a real
small level (maybe with a teleporter leading to the BFG, so you
have to risk getting slopped) to spice up the dooming experience.

Having said that, hunting is fine if there is no health scattered
around the place.
