It works on the dial up UNIX machine I use. I have since seen other ways
to do this. I guess it depends on the UNIX machine you're using.

Wicked! Awesome! I haven't seen any bugs, and it works fine.

Ah, yes how thoughtful, but it seem that my provider cut out the
file, recocnizing the format, and I have the same problem. I'll
see if I can somehow get it. If not, can you give me the
FTP site, and I'll try again to use FTPMAIL.

DEU 5.21 only handles DOOM 1. So the DJGPP version will not help you.
All I can say is look for another editor and try it. Or wait for DEU 5.3.
It will support DOOM 1, DOOM 2, and Heretic. And it will be a DJGPP
version (meaning you can use all the memory that you have). BTW, DEU is
currently in beta.

It is just the ultimate tool for Doom (2) and Heretic.

oo Anybody using my tool? Any ideas, bug-reports etc. ?

Since only an elite few recognize what you're talking about (the rest just
reply with one-line messages) I'll offer a few pointers about NWT 1.03 and
possible 1.04 material... :)

INFO TO THE UNAWARE: This product is an extremely valuable tool in wad
browsing, tinkering and extraction. If you don't have it, get it.

SUGGESTIONS:
* Gotta thank you for including the GENMIDI file. Finally, I can listen to
the music.

* New idea: Fonts. I'm wondering if there might be an easier way to view
the fonts. At the moment, you need to scroll letter by letter to see
how things look... I could imagine an alphabet sheet to view all of it at
once. Of course, this is a very low demand feature, and there's probably a
lot more you could do instead.

* Suggestion: Update the name things that appear in the upper right window
when you scroll throught the sprites. I'm using it to edit Heretic, and
cacodemons and imps still scroll by... ;)

* Idea: Don't know how much work this would be, but imagine moving to a
level and hitting the view on it, and you see a small version of the
level...

How's that to get you started?

Once again, great product.

Hi folks, I'm back.

I have been gone from the list a few months while I took a quarter off of
school, and I can't find the address for getting back on the mailing list.

Could somebody please mail me the listserv so I can jump back in here?
Thanks, and sorry for this lame request... :-)

It is easy. Why not...

Yeah, there are some other problems with Heretic... ;(
I still do not have the full version, it is difficult to use advantage of
a game without having it... ;)

Already planned. Also easy to do, I think...

Thanks.
