fellas. visiplane. visible planes. there is a 127 or 128 limit to the amount
of visible planes that the DOOM player can see through. If there is a plane
to see through, it doesn't get displayed, but still has to be kept track of,
as opposed to planes (lines) that are both out of play and out of view; ergo,
there must be a half-byte stack somewhere keeping track of them.

I have never had a problem being 'green' If anything, the red
guy always has the piss taken out of him because he stands out
more than the green guy. At any rate, it matters not what colour
you are but how handy you are with the ol' double barrel. I
echo the fact that colours aid identification, I get to laugh
outloud when I "slop" someone and I know who it is! DC

HOW does this stupid rumour live on? I mean it has been repeatedly
explained away here, in the newsgroups etc.. BUT there are the devout
believers of the 16 2-sided line def god of HOM.. There NEVER was a 16
2-sided line def limit.. (only the maximum number of line defs [2 sided
and single sided] visible at one time and it WAS increased significantly
in one of the early patches..)
Well, 'nuff said.. Time to prepare for the next question of 2 sidedness
yet to come..
