errr... that's the timebomb. Just set your clock back, it has nothing to
do with memory. The beta version isn't allowed to run after last
friday. Old news buddy.

Uh, the PFME alpha release read the colors just fine. Use the first
256 triples from the PLAYPAL resource in the Heretic IWAD.

DoomCAD worked w/ Heretic also. I've since decided to integrate
Heretic editing into DoomCAD directly, allowing the ability to switch
between Doom 1, 2 and Heretic.
This brings about a new set of possible features. Such as:
Highlight THINGS on a map with an invalid Thing ID for the current mode.
Same with Textures.
Any other suggestions here?

Hadn't seen anything on a quickie ROTT review, so I thought I'd give my
2 cents....
The BAD news...
Rott is a cell based-game (ala Wolfenstein).
The GOOD news...
Different light levels/ceiling heights
Nifty Elevator pads to move up and down.
Good sound
Good graphics
Good weapons
Nice n' violent
You can shoot and destroy scenery objects (torches, etc). Sometimes,
it is necessary to do this to step on an area that triggers something.
Also, shot torches will reduce light area.
Slick Jump pads that propel you thru the air.
11 player net mode (havn't tried this yet).
Moving "sectors".
I have to say, if it weren't a cell based game, we'd have a worthy Doom
competitor here. We actually still may have one: I found the game to be
pretty addicting.
