Ditto. Or just post it here, if no-one objects.

Please do not. I get enough stuff in my mailbox without 70k binaries that I'm
not personally interested in. E-mail it to people who ask for it, but not to
the mailing list.
Thanks

Well Dan, this is the first contribution to this NON EDITING THREAD but
in my opinion, if they are going to put *your* work on a CD the least
they can do is send you a copy of the CD. If they can't do that small
amount of reconsiliation for using your work...
Steve H.B.
PS-They can pay the shipping too. CDs are dirt cheap to make and press,
they're not losing any money.

But Matt, if he were to ask for a copy of the CD for free, assuming you
put his work on the CD, would you do it? And if you think his work
doesn't warent the incredibly inexpensive CD (on your guys end) being
sent for free to him, they why would it be on the CD? If you ask me, if
you want to be fair, and don't want to pay any kind of gratuities, send
him a free CD!

Youwch! How come yours was so much smaller?! My graphics wad was alot
bigger than that! It contained about 20 graphical substitutions and is
around 600k.

Can we get a uuencoded version to look at? Oh, and if you do, don't
forget to put world in the distribution. I haven't been seeing things
from people here at my alt.doom.binaries site. I'm at CalPoly in CA.

Try alt.binaries.doom. It looks like you were trying
alt.games.binaries.doom.
Understandable mistake.

No, no, no, no. Distribution: lines are exclusive. A server looks at them
and says "Hmmmm? Am I _not_ in this? Then don't have that article."
Distribution: world does nothing except prevent the article reaching
hypothetical wierdly (wrongly) set up sites. The Distribution: line
should always be left blank if your intent is to post to the whole world.
ObDooMEditing: Now I've got a door that should work fine but when I
activate it the ceiling moves *down* 8 pixels into the floor. What the
hell is it up to?

No, just a typo. For some reason I get only the main doom newsgroup. No
doom-ii ect. Does anyone know the news server at CalTech and if it recives
all the doom groups? If so could you send me the name and/or ip address?
Thanks again,
Brian
