I'd like to know if there's a way to get dmgraph to work store
changes in sprites and floor/ceiling panels in patch wads. I can
get wall textures to store, but not the above. Any ideas? is
there a dmgraph.exe newer than the one I have (roughly 91k) and
if so, FTP site to get it from? Cheers.

Subject: Weekly reminder: beginners' questions
This message is being posted at the request of the list caretaker:
The purpose of this list is to discuss *advanced* DOOM editing techniques.
In order to keep it that way, if you have a question but don't know whether
it's advanced or not, mail it in the first instance to:
Steve Benner : S.Benner@lancaster.ac.uk
Your question will either be answered or, if deemed suitable, forwarded to
the list. This is offered as a potential red-face saving and
list-annoyance abatement service. Feel free to send questions at any level
on any topic of WAD editing. If your questions are prefixed with the code
WQ: (for 'WAD query') in the subject field (e.g. Subject: WQ: Sprites),
they will be processed quicker.
This reminder will be posted here weekly, with the same subject title.

Is there a facility on this mailing list to include documents
with e-mail? if so, I'd like to send out some of my work for
critical evaluation.

Uhh, DeuTex will do it. That was a stupid question. Go read the
news group, it will also tell you how to get rid of the HOM effect
when using deu.

Not to start a new thread here, but this attitude is downright rude.
If you can't help someone, go ahead and delete the message, but don't
bother the whole list with something as useless as an (albeit small)
flame. This may be the "advanced" list, but I'd rather not have it also
be the "arrogant, can't-help-a-newbie" list.

Subject: linedef flags for special room
I want to have a room (sector) in my level that appears from the
outside to be a solid wall, but when you walk through the wall and
go inside, you can see/shoot through it. This would be sort of a
deathmatch ambush point. I have gotten this to work before, but
now when I try it, I get HOM effect or worse. What should the
linedef flags be set to?

Perhaps the texture on the outside of the wall has overlapping wall
patches.

Ok, my fault. Bad morning, no news, don't want this to be
rec.doom.editing, sorry. Greg, your right, you helped me A LOT
when I was learning dehacked.
I think AJ was speaking through my fingers in some strange way.
