I just received DOOM II in the mail today, and it was version 1.666. All
of the known bugs in 1.666 don't harm my operation of DOOM II, so I don't
care too much.... though I am also curious about why some people are getting
this 1.7... or supposedly getting 1.7...

Nope... the DOOM 2 I just got in the mail, all packaged like it would be sold
in a store, was version 1.666...

Yes, mine is the same size as yours, and larger than his.
Sorry to confuse things.

The other night I came home late, and tried to unlock my house
with my car keys. I started the house up. So, I drove it
around for a while. I was speeding, and a cop pulled me over.
He asked where I lived. I said, "right here, officer". Later,
I parked it on the freeway, got out, and yelled at all the cars,
"Get out of my driveway!"
