early 1990s BBS group called FISH. Like many groups of the time, FISH is an
acronym. It stands for "Folks in Sinatra Hats". Many of these groups' names
were often formed by thinking up a name and then finding letters to fit. I
don't know if this was one of that type.
Some of these methods of annoying people found on this list are mischievous and
even illegal, and it's meant for fun reading, although some of these ideas might
seem worthwhile to try out on someone deserving... but that would violate the
libertarian tenet, "Don't hurt people". Some of FISH's files were more
disturbing, using their knowledge of chemistry to tell you how to make deadly
poisons, for instance. I oppose the use of knowledge such as that to hurt
