NOTE: With the economy as it is, the HBD is struggling to
meet its meager operating expenses of approximately $3400
per year. If less than half of those currently directly
subscribed to the HBD sent in a mere $5.00, the HBD would
be able to easily meet its annual expenses, with room to
spare for next year. Please consider it.

As always, donors and donations are publicly acknowledged
and accounted for on the HBD web page. THank you

Subject: pitching only yeast

Dan;
I would guess that it depends upon how much fermentable stuff is left,
and you have related, if I remember correctly, that the gravity was 1.012
. I guess that it depends upon the grain bill (which we don't know yet),
but it is not at all uncommon for me to have final gravities rather
higher than this with a Belgian ale.

So I guess that I, for one, would not think that there is enough for the
yeast to eat in that final gravity.

Let's see what others have to say.

Happy Brewing!
Darrell
