Folks, the Cider Digest has been very quiet lately, almost inexplicably so
for this time of year, heading into harvest and pressing season (in the
northern hemisphere).

Don't forget the Digest is here for you! It's one way to get or give help
on cidermaking.

Reminders of a couple events in the US:

As Ben Watson mentioned a few digests back, Franklin County Cider Days is
coming up soon--first weekend in November. See
ciderdays.org
This is a fun, friendly collection of events in the Berkshires in north-
western Massachusetts. Well worth attending for the people you'll meet,
the ciders you'll taste, and all you can learn.

CiderCon--the annual conference of the United States Association of Cider
Makers (USACM) is in Chicago February 7-10 of next year. I bring it up now
because registration for the conference just opened recently. See
http://www.ciderassociation.org/page-1523059

Which one should you attend? Both.
Franklin County is just a great friendly event, especially if you're new to
cider and/or you're a smaller-scale cidermaker.
CiderCon is "the" industry event for cider.
