I'd like to thank Dick Dunn for correcting the misconceptions in my Article
on Colonial cider. I wanted to write something about Cider for my blog on
Presidents' Day, so I did some searching on the Internet for information. I
guess my sources were not very good. I apologize for repeating the errors.

I tasted a cider at a Peter Mitchells sensory evaluation in February, it
was Percheron Cider from Virtue which is said to be aged in Brett infected
barrels. I am inclined to agree with Dick that this is not a direction I
would take. I believe that some Normandy ciders trend this way. Interesting
flavor but would proceed with caution. If I made a cider like the one tasted
I would consider it flawed.

Hi folks
Anyone have experience with putting growlers on the shelf for retail
sale. I'm wondering if they hold unopened for a reasonable
length of time or if the seals aren't designed for long-term
storage.
Also looking for a supplier of growlers...seems to be a bit
difficult to source them easily in Australia.
Thanks for any assistance you can offer.
