Rocky Mountain Cider Association is sponsoring a cider tasting at Lakewood
Cider Days, in Lakewood, Colorado, on October 6. We're featuring ciders
from our emerging community of regional cidermakers, with a few imports to
add diversity.
Lakewood Cider Days is a community fall festival--typical county fair
stuff. They've been doing it for 38 years, but only recently has there
been any real (as in fermented) cider! They're getting clued in now
though.
OK, I know this isn't a patch on the larger regional festivals in the US.
We're small, but we're moving along! Watch for us to double next year.
Besides, if you're in the Rockies, you have to travel a bit to find cider
events.
Details:
Admission to event $7
Tasting $5 for 4 x 2.5 oz tasters
15 regional ciders (CO and MT) plus 4 imported (UK, FR, NZ, ES)
Noon to 4 PM Sunday Oct 6
Lakewood Heritage Center
