Scott
we have a new labeler that we are going to be putting on our bottling
line shortly, but not it is a standalone .
It is the VERT labeler by labeloneconnect.com and it is a terrific
machine. Programmable for a variety of sizes. front, back, single etc.

Not a problem with it yet and we labeled about 18,000 cases with it last
year.

I was wondering if I could get a tally of commercial producers that are
pasteurizing their product before distribution vs not pasteurizing. If
pasteurizing, what method - tunnel vs submersion in batches etc, If not
pasteurizing what method are you using to achieve shelf stability - sterile
filtration +/- sulfite and potassium sorbate vs other? Anyone using
velcorin?
Thanks,
Bud

We've had temps down to -20F this winter, and
I went out to check my trees today. Too many
have blackened tips with almost resembles
fire blight.
Not what I expected to see. Can anyone tell
me what I'm facing as I look into February
pruning?
