If you're in/near Colorado, you might see if you can make it to the
1st Annual RMCA Hard Cider Tasting
being held as part of Lakewood Cider Days, on Sunday, 7 October, 1-4 PM,
at the Lakewood Heritage Center, 801 S Yarrow St, Lakewood, Colorado.
RMCA is the Rocky Mountain Cider Association, a producer's organization
set up early this year. This is part of our effort to kick-start real
interest in real cider in this region...which just happens to be a great
area for growing cider apples.
Obviously this isn't a patch on the main cider event in the US, which
is Franklin County Cider Days in Massachusetts, as mentioned by Alan
Yelvington and Ben Watson in recent digests. But if you're close enough
to the Colorado Front Range, you might stop by.
