Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie 🍪🥧

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup (200g) packed light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (60g) chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- Vanilla ice cream, for serving (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the wet ingredients, and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped nuts, if using.
- Spread the cookie dough evenly into the prepared pie dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
