Coffee Panna Cotta dessert ☕️🍮
Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 4 hours 20 minutes
Servings: 4-6 servings
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 teaspoons gelatin powder
- 3 tablespoons cold water
- Chocolate-covered coffee beans, for garnish (optional)
Directions
- In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and instant coffee granules. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is hot but not boiling, and the sugar and coffee granules have dissolved.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
- Once bloomed, add the gelatin mixture to the hot cream mixture and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any undissolved gelatin or coffee granules.
- Divide the mixture evenly among 4 to 6 serving glasses or ramekins.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Before serving, garnish with chocolate-covered coffee beans if desired.
