Coffee Panna Cotta dessert โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿฎ

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons gelatin powder
  • 3 tablespoons cold water
  • Chocolate-covered coffee beans, for garnish (optional)

Directions

  • In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and instant coffee granules. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is hot but not boiling, and the sugar and coffee granules have dissolved.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
  • Once bloomed, add the gelatin mixture to the hot cream mixture and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any undissolved gelatin or coffee granules.
  • Divide the mixture evenly among 4 to 6 serving glasses or ramekins.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  • Before serving, garnish with chocolate-covered coffee beans if desired.
