Eggless Caramel Tiramisu ๐ฎโจ

1 cup heavy cream
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup brewed espresso, cooled
2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
1 package ladyfinger cookies
1/2 cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
Cocoa powder, for dusting

In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
In another bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
In a shallow dish, combine the cooled espresso with the coffee liqueur, if using.
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, making sure not to soak them too long to avoid sogginess.
Arrange a layer of dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the mascarpone layer.
Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and caramel sauce.
Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and drizzle with additional caramel sauce, if desired.
