10 gulab jamuns, store-bought or homemade
1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
250 grams mascarpone cheese
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy cream
Cocoa powder, for dusting
Chopped pistachios and almonds, for garnish
Saffron strands, for garnish

In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
Cut the gulab jamuns in half horizontally.
Dip each half of the gulab jamuns into the cooled coffee and arrange them in the bottom of a serving dish in a single layer.
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked gulab jamuns.
Repeat the layers with the remaining gulab jamuns and mascarpone mixture.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld together.
Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder and garnish with chopped pistachios, almonds, and saffron strands.
