1 package brownie mix
8 ounces mascarpone cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
2 tablespoons coffee liqueur
Cocoa powder, for dusting
Chocolate shavings, for garnish

Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and bake in a 9x13-inch pan. Let cool completely.
In a mixing bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur.
Cut the cooled brownies into bite-sized pieces and dip each piece into the coffee mixture.
Arrange half of the soaked brownie pieces in the bottom of a trifle dish or serving dish.
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the brownie layer.
Repeat with the remaining brownie pieces and mascarpone mixture.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings.
