Pistachio Cardamom Rose Loaf dessert πΉπ°

Ingredients:
- 200g plain flour
- 100g ground almonds
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 100g pistachios, roughly chopped
- 200g light brown sugar
- Zest of 1 orange
- 180ml almond milk
- 120ml light olive oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp rose water
- 1 tbsp dried rose petals (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F). Grease and line a 2lb loaf tin with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, ground almonds, baking powder, ground cardamom, chopped pistachios, brown sugar, and orange zest.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the almond milk, olive oil, vanilla extract, and rose water.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf tin and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow the loaf to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, sprinkle the top of the loaf with dried rose petals, if using.
- Slice and serve.
