Coffee Panna Cotta dessert ☕️🍮
Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 4 hours 20 minutes
Servings: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons instant coffee granules
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/4 teaspoons gelatin powder
3 tablespoons cold water
Chocolate-covered coffee beans, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and instant coffee granules. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is hot but not boiling, and the sugar and coffee granules have dissolved.
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
Once bloomed, add the gelatin mixture to the hot cream mixture and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any undissolved gelatin or coffee granules.
Divide the mixture evenly among 4 to 6 serving glasses or ramekins.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until set.
Before serving, garnish with chocolate-covered coffee beans if desired.
