Chocolate Marbled Cake with Caramelized Walnuts π«π°

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup hot water

Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream and milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
In a small bowl, mix the cocoa powder and hot water until smooth.
Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spoon half of the cocoa mixture on top and swirl with a knife.
Top with the remaining batter and spoon the remaining cocoa mixture on top. Swirl again with a knife.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
