Rasmalai Tiramisu dessert 😍🍰

Ingredients

  • 8 rasmalai, store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Directions

  • In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur, if using.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  • Dip each ladyfinger cookie into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are well soaked but not soggy.
  • Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of a serving dish.
  • Place a layer of rasmalai on top of the ladyfingers, gently pressing down to flatten slightly.
  • Spread half of the whipped cream mixture over the rasmalai layer.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining soaked ladyfingers, rasmalai, and whipped cream.
  • Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder for a finishing touch.
