1 cup heavy cream
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
24 ladyfinger cookies
2 cups fresh blackberries
Cocoa powder, for dusting

In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
In another bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of an 8x8-inch square dish.
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then top with half of the fresh blackberries.
Repeat the layers, starting with soaked ladyfingers, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture, and finally, the remaining blackberries.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder for a finishing touch.
