Isola del Liri, in provincia di Frosinone, è una delle poche località a presentare una cascata direttamente nel centro storico, una 'contaminazione' di natura e contesto umano che crea uno scenario assolutamente incredibile.

Sembra che sia un caso unico almeno a livello europeo, ma di certo il colpo d'occhio che regala non ha pari, specialmente quando si arriva al cospetto di questo getto d'acqua alto quasi 30 metri noto come Cascata Grande.
