Michael.
Have read the following and feel that I have the right to interject my
thoughts, etc. Not so much as for a defense to merely to clarify the points.
In order to limit the message size I will omit any areas that do not pertain.
Oh, before I start I will say that I remember sharing messages with the
originator, Trevor Prinn.

MC> I was quite interested in the Phoenix Project stuff until I read that
MC> Paranet had obtained it from Jack L Mathias. About a year ago Jack
MC> appeared in the Issues forum on Compuserve (CIS) with a couple of SF
MC> stories he had written under the name Jay Lewis, and was claiming to
MC> be true stories. They told of how he had been abducted by aliens on
MC> numerous occasions and had eventually been informed by them that he
MC> was himself an alien implanted into a human body and was, in reality,
MC> the husband (or something) of one of his abductors. He was trying to

MC> succeed.
..........
Mr. Trevor Prinn is right to a point. I did get involved in the Paranormal
Issues thread concerning UFOs etc and the topic of adductions did come up. And
as Trevor states, I did put two files into the library which concerned the
issue. However what Mr. Prinn says about numerous abductions isn't exactly the
way I put it. I told of my 1988 abduction and through this I learned I had
been also abducted during my childhood. To date, I have been unable to recall
any of the details and based my statement solely on what my abductors showed
me.
The part where Prinn states ... "informed by them that he was himself an alien
implanted into a human body and was, in reality, the husband (or something) of
one of his abductors" .. doesn't add up. However, in the story that I put into
the library *The Recall* by J. Lewis, I did describe events that to this day I
still belive to be real. As I stated at the time I wrote the stores as fiction
because I knew that no one would believe them to be factual. Even I had
trouble believing it.
......
MC> In subsequent messages in the forum he mentioned things like having
MC> broken into an underground alien base and getting into a (gun?) fight
MC> with the greys who occupied it.
.....
I made no such claim. However if I remember correctly there were some people
participating in the thread who tried to make this assumption. FYI this base
is the one mentioned in the Phoenix Project K2 Report and if you have had the
opportunity to read exhibit 21, I am the person who met and conversed with the
Grey.
However, at no time were there any hostil actions nor did anyone enter the
base.
..
MC> He also claimed to have been taught
MC> some mind control and ESP techniques by the friendly aliens from the
MC> SF stories. The first of these I recognised from an early novel by AE
MC> Van Vogt and when I asked him if it was called the cortical thalamic
MC> pause he confirmed it enthusiastically and near enough asked me which
MC> aliens had taught it to me. When I told him where it came from he
MC> replied that he had never read any Van Vogt, and that that author
MC> must therefore have had some alien contact similar to his own. I
MC> didn't believe the first part of that because I had already noted
MC> that the Jay Lewis stories showed some stylistic similarities to Van
MC> Vogt. I thought of writing to Van Vogt to get his opinion about the
MC> second part but decided that it would probably just annoy him.
.....
I still make the claim that I have not read any of the stories mentioned by
Mr. Prinn.
....
MC> Later Jack posted some information about a further technique he had
MC> been taught that enabled him to carry out telekinesis.
.......
I stated that I experimented and had little sucess. I said I was able to make
a piece of paper vibrate but could not lift it. Someone, possibly Mr. Prinn
suggested using a paper clip, stating it would work better. Unfortunately, I
had no success there, either.
.....
MC> This also
MC> looked rather familiar and an hour spent poking around my quite
MC> extensive SF collection turned up Jack of Eagles by James Blish. Not
MC> only did this describe exactly the same thing in some detail but
MC> Blish also made a deliberate mistake when quoting the Blackett
MC> equation (a formulation of Heisenburg indeterminacy), which Jack had
MC> witlessly copied. I don't know if it was significant but both of
MC> these SF books were inspired by Count Korzybski's exposition of
MC> General Semantics, Science and Sanity.
....
I continue to make the same claim as above. I have not read any of the books
mentioned. As for the Blackett equation I did use it but it wasn't until after
Mr. Prinn said what it was that I knew this.
....
MC> I posted a reply that included a reference to a scene in Jack of
MC> Eagles so that Jack could, if he wished, continue our game without
MC> letting on to the other forum participants, but he didn't reply and
MC> posted no further messages in the forum. Not long after that money
MC> trouble forced me to reduce my CIS usage to just a mailbox
....
Seems Mr. Prinn suffered the same fate I did. However I ceased my connection
in Issues/Paranormal when people started saying I should contact Don Ecker of
MUFON. [At least I think that was the person they wanted me to contact. I am
certain about MUFON. Ufortunately, I firmly believed and still believe that
would have been a dangerous move.
....
MC> and
MC> distribution point for my shareware business so I didn't know that he
MC> had returned with more of this stuff. By coincidence, I intended to
MC> rejoin the Issues forum in a week or two anyway, so I hope he is
MC> still there peddling this Phoenix stuff - he gave me a few good
MC> laughs last time around.
MC> (Sorry if that was a bit long but you know how it is when you are
MC> assigning someone's character.)
MC> Trev Prinn
....
I am also sorry this is so long, Michael. I failed to cut any of it because in
the long run, it all counted.
I will say this, however. When I got involved in Issues/Paranomral I had no
idea, what-so-ever that the Phoenix Project would ever release any of our
information. Had I, I sure wouldn't have input the information I did because
as you can see, it did, discredit me. At least in Mr. Prinn's mind.
Sincerely
J. L Mathias. [Yes, the L stands for Lewis]

Hi,
I,m new to the UFO echo, but I am interested in UFO abductions.
I was wondering if you knew about children and their abduction
experiences. My sister came to me with this story:
Her son 3 yrs. was put to bed at 8:00 she was in bed reading at 9:00
and she heard my nephew crying down stairs (his room is up stairs). She
found all the doors closed (he can't open doors yet) and thought it was
strange but let him go "potty" and sent him to bed again. The next morning
my nephew said, "Mommy why to people give me shot?" She thought he was
dreaming about when he was in the hospital with pneumona about a year ago.
So she asked him about it and he denied it and stated it was "last
night".She noticed a small brown mark on his right deltoid muscle about 1
cm in diameter that was not their before. She questioned him about it and
he said, "shot!"
A few days later he told daddy about people coming into his room
taking him on a "bus" to a "spaceship". When they questioned him about
what went on in the "spaceship", he said, "They took pictures me!" My
sister asked him what did these people look like and he made big circles
with his hands over his eyes and pinched his lips and he said they had no
nose.
Later I found Budd Hopkins' book INTRUDERS and gave it to her to
read. My nephew saw her reading it and he pointed to the picture of the
alien and said, "Those are the MASTERS." She said oh and didn't make a big
deal out of it. She has two children a daughter of 12 and a son of 9 and
she recalls the son of 9 saying people are watching him at night over his
bed and in his window. The daughter is obcessed with ghosts and the
paranormal. My sister thought my nephew watched a documentery on tv. Could
a 3 year old make up a story like this?
I'm really scared and skeptical. Could you or anyone else be so kind
as to write me and give me some advice on the subject. Oh a friend of mine
has a 4 year old nephew saying the SAME stuff. What is going on here?
Help,
Diane

RECENT SIGHTINGS OF XB-70-LIKE AIRCRAFT REINFORCE 1990 REPORTS FROM
EDWARDS AREA by William B. Scott Lancaster, Calif.
A large aircraft having a planform reminiscent of the Air Force
North American XB-70 supersonic bomber of the 1960s has been seen
flying on the U.S. East and West coasts over the last two years.
Two recent detailed reports of large, light-colored, XB-70 like
aircraft --- one in Georgia and the other in California's Mojave
desert --- provided new data that reinforce past sightings near
Edwards AFB, Calif.
Since September, 1990, residents of Mojave, Calif., and workers
at Edwards AFB have seen a large, delta-shaped, light-colored air-
craft flying in the area. A total of five separate sightings of
this vehicle has been reported to AVIATION WEEK & SPACE TECHNOLOGY.
Observers said they first saw a large, primarily delta-shaped
aircraft at night during the summer of 1990. On Sept. 13, 1990, and
Oct. 3, 1990, the same type of aircraft was seen flying near Mojave,
Calif., in the late evening. Mojave is about 16 naut. mi. northwest
of Edwards AFB.
The dusk sightings yielded descriptions and sketches of the
aircraft planform, nose and main landing gear door locations, lead-
ing edge tile-like patterns, and lightings layout. Observers con-
sistently reported a red light beneath the nose, amber lights near
the delta's wingtips, and a white light between the main gear doors.
Engine noise associated with the aircraft seen on Sept. 19 was
described as a low-pitched rumble. However, noise from two chase
aircraft - one was an F-16, the other was not identified - may have
combined with that of the large aircraft, distorting the latter's
sound. Afterburner flames from twin exhaust ports located under the
wing trailing edge and immediately outboard of the aircraft center-
line during the Oct. 3 sighting.
CLUES ABOUT POSSIBLE MISSION
A similar aircraft was seen in April, 1991, at about 11 a.m.,
flying north of Edwards AFB at an estimated altitude of 5,000-
10,000 ft. An observer said it was large - dwarfing an F-16 chas-
ing it - and was light colored, possibly white.
Independent sightings this year produced detailed sketches that
correlate well with earlier ones and provide additional clues about
the aircraft's possible mission. The first sighting this year was
near Atlanta, Ga., on May 10. Glenn Emery, now a writer associated
with Cable News Network, said a large, unidentified aircraft was
flying eastbound at about 5 p.m. Because its size was unknown, its
altitude was difficult to judge, but was estimated to be 10,000-
15,000 ft. The vehicle was clearly higher and faster than the air-
line traffic descending for landing at Hartsfield Atlanta Internat-
ional Airport. It was not leaving a contrail.
He described the aircraft's planform as large, somewhat like an
XB-70, but with a large forward wing or canard. Its dual engines
were "extremely noisy", producing a deep-pitched, perioding beating
sound, he said. Suggestions that he had seen the British Aerospace
Concord or a Beech Starship were discounted by Emery, who said the
shape, size and sound were inconsistent with either of those air-
craft.
Another sighting, on July 12 at 11:45 p.m., occurred near a
Lockheed-operated radar cross section (RCS) test range in the
Mojave desert. Described as an "XB-70-like" shape, the aircraft
turned its landing lights on while at fairly high altitude, then
descended quickly, following an S-pattern flight track. It made a
final turn at about 200 ft. above a road, crossing less than a mile
in front of a motorist who had watched its descend. Ambient noise
masked any sounds from the aircraft.
Bright moonlight illuminated the aircraft's upper surfaces, giving
the observer a good look at the planform during the turn. The air-
craft rolled out, presenting a side view as it descended and landed
at a private Helendale airport adjacent to the Lockheed RCS test
facility.
Located about 15 naut. mi. southwest of Barstow, Calif., Helendale
Airfield's three runways are close to civil pilots on current aero-
nautical charts. However, Lockheed aircraft still land there when
shuttling personel between its Burbank site and the RCS facility.
Although weather was clear and calm at the Helendale field
that night, several thunderstorms were reported in the Las Vegas
area and through the highly classified range complexes in central
Nevada.
Based on observer reports, this unidentified aircraft's features
include:
# Large size, estimated to be close to 200 ft. in length. Observers
near Edwards AFB said the vehicle "dwarfed" F-16 chase aircraft.
# A large aft section with a clipped-delta platform. A narrower,
blended fuselage extends from the delta's vertex forward to a
clearcanopied cockpit and sharp nose. The main delta section
has a prominent, raised spine along the top centerline. Upward-
canted vertical fins rise at each outboard tip of the delta
planform.
# A prominent dark line extending longitudinally along part of the
aft raised section. At the aft end of the line, just ahead of
the trailing edge and between the engine nozzles, a broken
visual pattern was seen, but observers could not describe it.
# A forward wing or canard of fairly long span. The canard,
possibly used only for takeoff, landing and slow-speed regimes,
may pivot or sweep aft for internal stowage during high-speed
flight (Some observers reported a dominant canard, while others
did not recall, suggesting it can be stowed).
# Dual rectangular engine exhaust nozzles at the aircraft's
trailing edge.
# Light-colored top and bottom surfaces, with dark leading and
trailing edges.
Although the propulsion system is unknown, observers have reported
a "very loud, low-pitched roar" with a rhytmic beat to it. They did
not hear a series of detonations, which have been associated with
high-speed "pulser" vehicles that create "donuts-on-a-rope"
contrails
* With this article, there is an artist's composite of the craft.
* The caption reads: "The aircraft configuration suggests a variety

A friend just called me up and told me of an interview with one
of the members of this group that was carried on "A Current Affair".
Unfortunately, he wasn't able to see the entire interview and I was
wondering if anyone caught it. From what little I could gather from
the conversation the guy's name who was interviewed was "Davis"..don't
know whether this was first or last name.
Anyone else see it and have anything to add?

Subject: William Cooper Radio Program
Date: 8 Sep 92 15:21:14 GMT
From: Will Martin <wmartin@STL-06SIMA.ARMY.MIL>
Hi!
I've been greatly backlogged on reading ParaNet in recent months, so
before I posted this, I scanned thru my files of back traffic for the
string 'Cooper' and hope I caught all the references. I do believe that
the person I will mention is the same 'Bill Cooper' or 'Milton W. Cooper'
frequently referred to in this forum. It is sometimes confusing when
people have relatively common names...
Anyway, I thought people in this group would be interested to hear that
William Cooper has his own radio show on a shortwave station that can be
tuned in by just about anyone in North America and many other areas.
Unfortunately, the vagaries of shortwave propagation and some annoying
interference on the frequency this station uses have made it somewhat
difficult for me to be precise about some of the terminology.
The station is WWCR (WorldWide Christian Radio, a broadcaster that rents
time to a lot of different religious and political programs). The
frequency is 7435 kHz, and the time is 0500 UTC Monday, which is 1 AM Monday
morning Eastern Daylight Time, 12 midnight Central Daylight, etc.
I believe the program title is 'The Hour of the Time' (or 'Times'), but
I might be somewhat off on that. The first broadcast was 31 August, and
all it was was a reading of the Constitution. The second broadcast on
7 Sept was devoted to the seige of the cabin in Idaho in which several
people were killed. I wasn't up to listen to this, and just taped the
first 45 minutes on one side of a C-90 cassette, so I didn't hear the
end. During the part I taped, which was a bit difficult to understand
due to interference, Mr. Cooper identified himself as the author of
the book 'Behold A Pale Horse'. One of the ParaNet documents also refer
to that book as being by the William Cooper of UFO/MJ-12/JFK fame, so
I believe this is the same person. In this broadcast, he solicits $25
'memberships' in an organization whose exact name I forget, but which
has the word 'Intelligence' in the title, such as a private intelligence
group or agency, to support these broadcasts. The contributions are
supposed to go via a mailing address at the Becker Satellite Network (in
Kansas, I think).
There was no mention of UFOs or Paranormal topics in the program I
heard. Perhaps Cooper is aiming this at a totally different audience,
or perhaps he will draw in these topics in later broadcasts. One
interesting side note is the way he referred to 'Bo' Gritz, the Populist
presidential candidate, who acted as a negotiator in this Idaho
cabin-siege standoff situation. Cooper would not refer to Gritz by name
but instead made some slighting references to Gritz' actions in this case
being politically motivated, and said he did not like him, and would
discuss him in a later broadcast. [Anyone who remembers the way the national
news media covered this Idaho incident might note that some networks
referred to Gritz by name and to his presidential candidacy, while
others (CBS in particular) just said 'a former Green Beret' was acting
as a negotiator. Odd...]
I realize that Mr. Cooper is held in contempt by most people who
contribute to this forum. I don't know anything about him except what
I've read here. I just thought you-all might be interested in knowing
about this. When I first heard a reference to this program, it was in
the context of a discussion of an unlicensed-radio broadcaster who is
challenging the FCC's authority over him on Constitutional grounds, so
I suppose that topic would be discussed in a soon-upcoming program. I
had been confused at first as to just what 'Cooper' was referred to;
there is a 'Bob Cooper' who started the home TVRO industry using surplus
equipment back some decades ago, and I at first thought that was the
person cited, since the context was radio-related. I was a bit surprised
to find the UFO/MJ-12 'Bill Cooper' appearing in this context.
Regards, Will
