I have to disagree here Charles. I have sat with people (approximately 25 to
30) and watched a group of UFOs. Nobody got all upset or frightened. We all
watched them until they finally went away. I did take time out to call the
local sheriff, who said "Yeah, sure lady." but other than the few minutes it
took to make the call from inside the office, we ALL watched them with extreme
curiosity and amazement at the way they maneuvered.
As a matter of fact, the conversation you quoted was similar to what was said
that night.
Normal, I guess, is in the eye of the beholder. (grin)

Jim: Well, now it looks like "Mr. Team Player" - Bill Moore (known for
his supportive assistance in the investigations conducted by Paul
Bennewitz) is coming to the rescue once again. It appears that he has
been in touch with Avon Books (publisher of _Roswell_). As a result,
the previously-announced release date in November has become a big
question mark. Of course, I'm sure that Bill is acting in the best
interests of all ufologists, as he usually does.
Anyway, it sounds like there is a good story here for UFO
magazine, if you catch my drift.

Seems to me I've heard that too, but I don't know for sure. Several

JK>..We have tunnel vision to an extent, and a lot of it is brought on by
JK>the "third estate", the media.

uhhhh..You mean the _controlled media_..I've done quite a bit
of research in the last few years on them. Maybe one day soon I will
post some excerpts/snippets out of the vast amount of info I've
collected on this..

For instance..you'd be *surprised* (or maybe not) to see the
members of the board of directors that sit on AT&T's management
team..lots of interlocks between other companies.

Not to mention the history behind the Council on Foreign Relations
(CFR), the Bilderburg group, The Institute for Pacific Studies,
The Tri-lateral Commission and the vast influence that
==> David Rockefeller <== exerts.

It doesn't surprise me at all that the media is both liberal and
biased..All three of the major networks are represented by members
of the above mentioned groups.

The "who's who" of the members of those groups are quite lengthy
and combined they represent literally hundreds of corporations.

What's got me wondering, is ALL the sightings in Brussels..Awhile
back, there was a fellow named John Zajack, who is a prominent
scientist/writer/lecturer who was going around on the talk radio
circuit discussing his new book called "A Delicate Balance"
(Huntington House Publishing Co,POB 53788, Lafayette,La) and
what he was saying is a very disturbing move towards a super
computer that's already up and running in Brussels..He claims
that it's being programmed to keep track of people's movements
in the near future..(That's what I've heard..I haven't read the book
yet).

He calls this computer "The Beast"...

I just wonder if there's a tie-in here somewheres....there must
be *something* going on in Belgium to warrant all the UFO attention.

JS>So much for the question I often get asked by critics: "I can imagine a UFO
cover-up in this country, but how could it be so world-wide? Why would so many
other countries conspire to hide the truth?"
Another argument bites the dust.

It's unfortunate that our "news" people in this country have
the "Maury Povich" attitude that they do.

Hell, they wouldn't know a *good* story if it jumped up and
bit em' in the rump....

I have *yet* to see/hear any reports on TV about Brussels..

What? Peter Jennings lead off with a UFO story? Surely you jest.

Of course, his 'handlers' don't WANT the truth to get out to
the American Public...we might DEMAND explanations from our
Govt and that could get sticky for more than a few people
in high Govt circles.

Wonder what the handlers will do when the inevitable does happen
when a bootlegged video does get shown somewheres..I doubt
it will happen in "Prime Time" though until the issue gets
pushed when too many people start asking too many questions.

A friend of mine is visiting Brussels right now and I've
begged/cajoled him to come back with some hard data..ie..
interviews..newspaper clippings..some FILM..

<line eater..what line ea

I putting this forth as a general query.

The other day, a sysop friend of mine got me in chat and
knowing my interest in UFO's and such proceeded to tell me
of a short report that he'd heard on the local business
radio program. To the best of my recollection, he says
that there was a "bust" of a group in Germany recently
who call themselves "The End of The World" group..They
were busted for espionage of some military property
(or some such thing). The group was composed of 5 men
and 1 woman. The report had linked them with (of all
places) Gulfbreeze!

Does *anyone* know of this or has any info on it?

My friend was an ex-special forces and was wanting
to know if anyone did know about this..

Thanks in advance for any information if anyone can
shed some light on this.

To those of you who answered my "question" about the validity of the
CARP file, thank you. You mentioned it sounds like Cooper and on that
I will agree it sounds similar. My biggest argument was that the
helicopters dropped their load of gas "downwind" from the target. Now
that just doesn't make sense. I've re-read the file a few times and was
thinking perhaps the author meant DW from the helicopters, but it
appears as DW from the "object". It's little inconsistancies like that
that make it "suspect". Now I have another question for you all, is
there in fact a nerve gas "Vexxon"? All you chemists out there, please

As for almost overhead, it didn't matter _which_ direction you faced--

Something else I didn't mention--at one point, a plane flew underneath

No problem, that's what I want.

That's the one where the object is in perfectly sharp focus while the
background is blurred slightly from camera motion, a virtual impossibility
unless Ed was tracking the object perfectly. Since I don't think anyone can
track an object that perfectly for such a lengthy shutter opening, I believe
that this is proof of a hoax.

Bill:

That is exactly the claim made by Ed. He points out that a feature missing in
the model is ALSO missing in the sketch. I predict that it will eventually
turn out that Ed made the model that way on purpose and planted it in the
house himself, giving it enough "plausible deniability" to be able to turn
around and say "Hey, look, they're at it again!"

Think of it this way, Bill. Do you think Ed would be stupid enough to leave
that kind of evidence behind by accident? Now, do you REALLY think a debunker
would be stupid enough to plant it? Neither makes sense. But Ed planting it to
make it LOOK like someone else planted it, in order to garner more
sympathy...THAT makes sense to me. Think about it...it HAS gained him more
sympathy in some quarters, hasn't it? Many people here are turning an even
more suspicious eye on "the debunkers", whoever that might be.

Incidentally gang, an update on the model: A report will be coming out
shortly to show that the records of the floor plan depicted on the
construction paper used in the model were on file with Gulf Breeze City Hall
TWO YEARS PRIOR TO THE BUILDING OF THE HOUSE in which they were used...in
other words, the plans DO PREDATE Ed's first encounter. So much for that
argument.

All six were members of a cult called "End of the World." There may be
absolutely no connection to the UFO case, but 6 members of the 701st
_M_ilitary _I_ntelligence _B_rigade, just happen to gravitate to the most

I wish I could believe that, Bill, but with what is happening in the field as
we speak, both publicly and behind the scenes, I'm pretty certain that the bad
blood is going to get a lot worse. The Gulf Breeze case is a lot more divisive
than people realize. Hoax or not, its an absolute travesty, and will make a
shambles of several careers and at least one organization.

A major summit may be in the offing, but its going to have to be a very
private one, involving responsible people, not a big public show that includes
all the loudest barkers.

Yeah, I read it, I think it was posted here. That's so typical of Bruce,

Hmmmm....Bill Moore, like Bill Cooper just doesn't know when he's finished.
After that fiasco at the MUFON Conference in `89 where he committed what

Richard,

So far from what I have seen the detail of the incident are extremely
obscure. Would you be kind enough to fill in the gaps. I have heard from
several different sources that there was a group arrested in Germany that
had a connection somehow to Gulf Breeze and that they were arrested for
Counter-espionage. I Would appreciate any clarification you might be able to
give..

Kind regards,

Jim,

Many thanks for supplying this information. It certainly clears up a lot of
the rumors that have been floating around during the past few days. BTW are
you aware of Clifford Stone? I think there is an interesting connection
here. I will leave a message over in P_SYSOPs..

Don,
Just wondering if you are familiar with the yearly "MOst
Censored/under-reported news stories"
report that comes out
of Sonoma State University? Every year they assemble a panel
of judges from around the country, and select the 10 best. Its
veeery interesting! Steve

John,
I'll have to backtrack through my message base to see if I
can find the source. I'll let you know what I turn up.
