The following is an article found in the Monday, July 2nd edition of the
BOSTON HERALD:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rep rips E.T.

E.T. won a vote of confidence from the irrepressible Silvio Conte last week
on the House floor.

Rep. Conte (R-Pittsfield), the Bay State delegation's merry prankster, was
inveighing against funding for NASA's $6.1 million Search for Extraterrestrial
Intelligence program.

Tongue firmly planted in cheek, Conte brandished a passel of supermarket
tabloid clippings as proof that UFO's and space aliens exist.

'Conclusive evidence of these crafty outsiders can be found at checkout
counters from coast to coast,' said the veteran Republican lawmaker.

He cited a Weekly Worl News article describing how UFOs were set to land at
Chicago's Soldiers Field during last year's Bears-Philadelphia Eagles NFL
contest.

'We also know that Noah's Ark was built by space aliens,' said Conte,
proffering four additional tabloid clips.

'We could take out an advertisement in the personals to locate some of these
develish foreigners: 'Single blue planet seeks out alien life forms for fun,
adventure, and possible romance.''

Conte, the ranking Republican on the powerful House Appropriations Committee,
closed his spacey monologue with a modest proposal, 'If we continue to fund
this dog ... then we should seriously consider funding of an even more
ambitious program - SCI: Search for Congressional Intelligence.'

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hmm, and he's Republican. Is anyone interested in helping me educate this
Representative Conte??? I think he needs the full course.

Jim;

Ok, you want a subject? On my Cooper story, ( Milton, who else )
I had so much information that it turned into a two parter. As
far as his reaction, there has not been one - as of yet.
However.... his business partner, one Michael Callan, a Hollywood
type and character actor for over 20 years, has been in touch. He
has some type of arrangement with Cooper in selling Coopers
tapes.

Coopers stooge, T.S. Bennett picked up a copy and once more as
expected is spouting Coopers party line. Can't these assholes see
that this does nothing but cloud everything else? For example, I
just got a lead on a former radio astronomer that was connected
with the NASA SETI program that has some very amazing information
in reference to SETI and what has alledgedly really been
occuring. I am trying to trace it down. Also I have been
attempting to find out if there is anything to the Soviet
incident and if so, why the media has ignored it. I don't have to
explain that, as you know as well as I do. But you are right, I
thought that there was something wrong with my feed, no ParaNet
messages-for days...... Well, not quite that bad, but. . . .

Some really amazing information on Bob Lazar coming up, hoping to
be able to really do it once and for all as soon as the Cooper
story is concluded, and that will be in the next issue.

You know, the picture of Cooper in the Vol. 5 No. 4 started me
thinking really paranoid thoughts...... You don't think that
somewhere down the line that some top secret govt. spook agency
somehow, with top secret Alien science, in conection with Alt. 3
somehow CLONED Joe McCarthy into Cooper, do you???? I looked at
that photo, and then checked a history book with Tail Gunner Joe,
then looked a Cooper, then looked at McCarthy,
then............Na, couldn't be........could it???

Does anybody out there have any idea about a manuscript about
Governmental Mind-Control/UFO abduction connections? I believe it is
called "The Controllers"

RE:26 L & R Hoax
My first thought is that it would be a lot of trouble to go thru but
then (assuming ED has been up to no good) he has already gone to a lot
of trouble so what's a little more work. I have tried a couple of
times to get any kind of decent photo of a light in the sky at night
and that seems to be at least as hard as just hoaxing something.
Without knowing the "right" way to take a night photo they just don't
come out and I have a hard time seeing how ED does it so easily. I
definitely seems to me that ED needs to use polaroids to be able to get
a good picture and that makes me think something is not right.

Starting tomorrow, Monday July 2nd, the Nashville Network
(TNN) will be doing a series on UFOs. The segments will be
aired on a program called "American Magazine" hosted (I
think) by Brad Staggs. The series will feature info on the
Fyffe, Alabama sightings, events at this year's Eureka
Springs Conference, and other topics. It should be
interesting viewing!

OK, gang, I'm heading off the the MUFON symposium in Pensacola
Thursday morning, so anything you'd like me to try to find out or ask
about, be sure I get it via echomail or netmail by Wednesday night.

-+I dunno, Mark....what do you think? I was never excited about the vortex
-+theory, because why only in England, and only in the last few years? But
-+now it appears that they DO appear elsewhere, and they do go back to
-+antiquity. And it does seem to explain why they only form overnight. ON THE
-+OTHER HAND, its my understanding that whirlwinds can only spin one way,
-+depending on the hemisphere, and these circles are flattened in either
-+direction. And I sure don't buy the 'electrical charge' bit to explain the
-+lights and humming. Not that I buy the lights and humming to begin with....

Good points. What do I think? Boy, I wish I could settle that. :)
Crop Cricles have really fascinated me because of the evidence left...
like Yeti tracks, but a lot quirkier. Unfortunately, I haven't really
gotten myself to order some books on this, so most of my knowledge is
from Paranet and the mainstream press. Still, crop circles are just
so strange that a 'natural' explanation just doesn't seem right: "A
natural weather occurrence that spins in conflicting directions within
itself, that causes precision circles, etc.? C'MON!!' If there's any-
thing that makes me disbelieve the 'perfectly natural; nothing to worry
about...' explanation the most, it's the precision to which the circles
are depressed -- right up to the radius and everything outside it is
untouched.

I've been kind of burned out on UFOs lately; but I keep reading
Paranet for the other tidbits that get across -- crop circle information,
Tesla stuff, etc. -- and let me say that I'm glad it's permitted!

- Mark G.

P.S.: Perhaps I should have mentioned when I posted the article originally,
but wasn't meaning to offer the article as proof of my side (hardly!), but
as a conversational simulant... :)
