When you say "Ed is for real" do you mean that in the sense the "he
thinks, therefore he am" or that what he says "is true"? If you
didn'lt see the photographer and don't know if he is even real, how do
you know he took them from your yard. Maybe you were the photographer
but don't remember. Maybe you should get in touch with Hopkins for a
regression session. Who knows what "truths" might come out. As to
whether the UFO posed for the shoots; From the photos I've seen, there
can be only two conclusions, either a real UFO posed or a fake UFO was
the source. Based on the chain link fence photo, I am inclined to
believe it was a fake UFO. If I had more info on the terrain around
Ed's house, etc, I might change my mind but just letting the photo
speak for itself, it says, Fake, to me.

Jim, I know Ed. personally, and I consider him to be an honorable man,
However, I have always said that the photos were too good to be true,
But and I repeat But if they aren't it isn't because Ed. hoaxed them.
He saw the same thing that many others saw. The real source of the
object is much higher than one man with Ed's knowledge could produce.
As to me being regressed, no thanks, I'd rather not be the object of
curiosity. It's bad enough just talking about it.

Well John that's the description they gave privately. I just learned
that one of the guys who is going to do a show will describe the
experience. I don't know how he will get by on his description

The Ufo was seen, but not publically discussed until Ed's encounter. I
don't know if what he has is fame or not, but it sure has been great
P.R. The biggest mistake made by everyone is that they have been so
tied up with Ed. that a lot of good stories have been missed. Just a
few nights ago when the large white lights were seen in North Ala. a
man got video of it. When he and his wife went inside to run it back
and look at it, his house trailer started shaking all the wat down to
the foundation. When they went outside a white sphere was sitting 3'
over his roof. The phones went as well as other things. He was scared
to hysteria. They asked me what I thought, and I said if I was him I
wouldn't take any more pictures.

Photos are only records for the person who takes them, that's all. I
wish more people believed that way, it would stop so much of the flak
going around. Personally, I would not take any pictures, it only
exposes you not the negative. In that I am positive. (Grin)

Sad to say, you can't expect much from a congressional investigation.
The really sensitive and telling material in the Iran-contra HEarings
(like the CIA drug connections) was shunted off into the closed
portions of the hearings that, for the most part, we never find out
what went on in. One COngressmen tried to open the door a little
during the hearings and was ilmmediately stopped in his tracks by the
chairmen with some comment to the effect of "We agreed that would only
be discussing in closed sessions."

It wouldn't be the first time an "honorable" man was not what he seemed
to be. Honorable men are in the paper all the time charged with things
ranging from murder to littering.

I agree, and this is definitely a people-oriented issue. Let's face it,
no matter how stirring our words about "right to know" and "open
government," this really is a question of basic curiosity. I'm DYING to
know what's going on...I just think our best shot at it is to let the
best in the field do what they're doing. But eventually, yes, whatever
help the rank and file can offer WITHOUT GETTING IN THE WAY should be
taken advantage of.

I'm disinclined to post there. I don't see how Libertarians could
believe in an open and honest government, since they don't seem to
believe in government at all.

That's what ParaNet's all about, Gene. Rest assured, I'm in this game to
TELL you what's going on. But as I told Don, I think my best shot at it
is to play coy for now in the hopes of a more credible and comprehensive
reward later. Secrecy is NOT an end for me - I *HATE* keeping secrets!

Interesting post, John. I'm a Creationist-basher of long standing, but
hadn't heard the one about the craters on other planets. Is that from
one of Morris' books? It's a laugher. I daresay it could be used in
future monkey trials to call Morris's scientific credentials into
question.
I've often wondered about the Biblical basis for non-belief in ETs; I
don't think the stuff about Jesus being the only-begotten Son is enough
of an argument against ETs. All it does is raise questions, as you say,
and Fundamentalists hate questions - they can only deal with answers.
And I've met quite a few deeply religious folk who have no problem with
the ET concept. They rationalize it by saying that the Bible doesn't
specifically PRECLUDE life on other planets. So maybe we're burning a
straw man?

A New Roswell Witness?
Pssst... Did anyone hear the Billy Goodman show a few nights ago? He
was supposed to be interviewing a Roswell witness who had just
recently come out of the closet (i.e., back into the country).
