JS} freaks, up there with Tesla and Joe Newman.

Who is Joe Newman? I know of Tesla and Reich, but JN is a new one to me.

DE>The Krill files were conceived and written by a shadowy UFO
researcher in
Nv. by the name of John Grace. Grace and John Lear in fact do know
each
other, and back in 1987 when I first met John Lear, and he gave the the
package of documents that included his research and conclusions, the
Krill
documents were included.

Thanks for the info Don..it DID strike me as slightly eerie, that
upon reading the Krill files for the first time that I was experiencing
Lear deja vu'.

Subject: Spaceship?
Date: 17 Feb 90 12:05:00 GMT

We can ponder all day long about aliens in their little spacecrafts and
green martians and little 4 ft grey beings but WHY must we always
believe that they travel in SPACESHIPS?
Why couldn't they, being of higher intelligence, contact us through
mental telepathy and or thought transference. Big question folks!!! So
how about some answers.
Will they be able to bring their spaceships in to rescue some of us
from this pending POLE SHIFT that I keep reading and hearing so much
about. We might wish this to be possible since it appears that it
won't be a pretty sight and I for one don't want to be here during
and/or after the shift.
Are there aliens among us right now taking over bodies of humans (as
walk-ins) after the human has gotten tired of their life and was
willing to change places? I keep hearing all these things that other
people have written (published) but no that much about these things
from you all.
If you think I'm way off track, put me on the right one. I'm open
to comments, suggestions and EVEN criticism.

Gene:
Thanks for your reply. Yes, if you could help on Bush's bio, that
would be appreciated. I mean to put some serious time into checking this
story out. I've checked locally for the "October Surprise" book. No luck
yet. Will keep checking. I should be receiving info from Murray soon as I
sent his requested amount of $2.50 last week. I will be talking with him
again soon and this time my cassete recorder will allow me to catch alot
more of his story.

I recall that Murray has stated that one of his sources is in Wash.D.C.
and has been an excellent source for him. Again, I'll broadcast more info.
as I receive it.

Who is Col. Gritz? Can he be reached for comment? Also, if you could
provide, even if it just be speculation, more info on the various splinter
groups that you feel may be involved.

Take care.

Ray Griffin:

No, not to my knowledge. My father died when I was four (1968) and
my grandfathers died previous to that time.

Ray, I've been meaning to write you for some time now. Is it true
what I'm reading about you from people such as Byron Smith and others?
I've been watching the traffic for a couple of months now and your comments
are intriguing. I probably have alot of your background that I could
re-piece together to get up to date, but for the record, who are you?
Who are the Elders, etc.? Sorry for the basic questions but I'm sure I'm
not the only one who needs to get up to speed. Thank you, and if I can
be of any assistance please let me know.

To All:

Yes, thank you for correcting my mistake. I'd like to say that was a
typo but the fact is I must have copied it down while speaking to Mr. Murray
and just never corrected it. When I get more info on him and his effort I'll
distribute it. In the meantime, if anyone else has any info in their files
on this subject please participate and speak up. Thanks.

Keith F. : Thanks for the additional information about
the Reich affair. Can you post additional information
on how WR's books got back in print? I believe the New Yorker
cartoonist William Steig was one of WR's champions at
the time.
As I said, I had no trouble finding his books
on the Stanford U library shelves in 1961-62 when I read them.
I saw "Character Analysis" on the desk of a psychoanalyst
in 1962 and ran into several self-styled Reichians in
So. Calif in the early 60's when WR's ideas had a vogue
and never heard any complaints about the unavailability
of his writings.
I must say, though, that the books of his that
I read were extremely unconvincing. If anything, the
discoveries in cancer research and molecular biology
since the late 50's have not validated any of WR's
ideas on biophysics, "bions", etc. I can't speak for
psychology, but my Freudian social worker friend is
not impressedwith Reich's contributions to her field.
I also feel I must speak in Martin Gardner's
defense. While I agree that he can be infuriating
when he asperses someone like the 19th century music
theorist, A. J. Ellis whose work I find particulary
valuable, it was through MG's book "Fads and Fallacies"
that I first became aware of WR, Lawsonomy, the Forteans,
etc.
Martin Gardner is chiefly responsible for bringing
Maurits Escher's art to public attention via his column in
Sci Am and more recently he publicized Roger Penrose's
non-periodic pentagonal tilings (Penrose also invented
the math behind Twistors). MG's columns directly inspired
researchers to consider the possibility of crystals with
the "forbidden" 5-fold symmetry. When the puzzling X-ray
diffractograms of a new Aluminum-Manganese alloy were
first seen, the theory was already at hand to understand
them because one of MG's readers had done the math for fun.
Now "quasi-crystals"are a major interest in Materials Science,
and one of my music theorist friends has just applied
the Penrose tilings to music scale generation.
As I continually tell students and some of my
less confident music theory colleagues, you don't have
to believe the opinions of authorities to make use of
their facts. The musicologist James Murray Barbour
passionately believed that the traditional 12-tone equal
temperament was the best possible tuning, yet his book
Tuning and Temperament" is an excellent reference work
and the first theory book I bought.
MG may be opinionated, but he also has a sense of humor
about the matters he is skeptical about. I feel uneasy
about citing R. A. Wilson as an authority on anything as
I am never quite sure when he is joking. With MG I am always
sure of his biases and can discount them if necessary.
Finally, as many theologians maintain, even the Devil is
constrained to do good. ----John
