Ah, a most interesting gent is he. I bet you've heard of him but have
forgotten. It is he who has designed a new motor that puts out more
energy than it takes in. He lost a fight with the patent office, because
(says he) they simply won't patent a "free energy" or "perpetual motion"
device. (The real reason seems to be that it just doesn't work). He
lives somewhere in Mississippi, claims to have run a Porsche with the
thing, claims that Ray-O-Vac is interested in purchasing the
design, claims that God told him to run for President, claims to have
been predicted to be the next President by Nostradamus, etc. etc....
Yeah, THAT guy.

We can ponder all day long about aliens in their little spacecrafts and
green martians and little 4 ft grey beings but WHY must we always
believe that they travel in SPACESHIPS?
Why couldn't they, being of higher intelligence, contact us through
mental telepathy and or thought transference. Big question folks!!! So
how about some answers.
Will they be able to bring their spaceships in to rescue some of us
from this pending POLE SHIFT that I keep reading and hearing so much
about. We might wish this to be possible since it appears that it
won't be a pretty sight and I for one don't want to be here during
and/or after the shift.
Are there aliens among us right now taking over bodies of humans (as
walk-ins) after the human has gotten tired of their life and was
willing to change places? I keep hearing all these things that other
people have written (published) but no that much about these things
from you all.
If you think I'm way off track, put me on the right one. I'm open
to comments, suggestions and EVEN criticism.

Jim: You asked essentially if Reich's work has been verified or repeated.
Apparently the cloudbuster work has been by Trevor Constable and I believe
that this was published, I don't know where. Rober Anton Wilson gives
additional references of publications where Reich's work has been repeated.
In general though, I believe the answer is in the negative, there have not
been big studies to replicate his work in orgone and cloudbusting. These
I believe, are the two topics of the greatest focus, and they are related.
Much of the work with orgone energy (so called) centers on the idea that
bi-layer metal boxes accumulate something when constructed in a certain
way and left alone for a certain amount of time. Reich measured various
physical parameters of the boxes to find out if there was a difference
between regular (cardboard, I think) and bi-layer metal boxes. He found
differences in temperature and a few other measureables.
It is interesting to note (especially with respect to our biblical discussions)
that according to the construction techniques outlined in the old testament,
the ark of the covenent was a bi-layer metal box (to which also are attributed
many strange and miraculous things).

Most of the work done on this topic seems to be purely theoretical.
Hawkings and others have speculated on it, but there doesn't seem to be
any way to move in this dimension (one of four in our local universe).
Gribbins dealt with this very topic in his book, _Timewarps_. In this
book, he postulates using black holes to move along the time dimension.
Instead of spoiling it for others, I suggest that folks buy the book and
add it to their source materials.
Essentially, I'd have to say that given our present level of technology
and understanding time travel is not possible for us. Will it ever be?
That is why we speculate and look at what might be possible.
Personally, I'd have to say that time travel is not possible, at least
not now or within the foreseeable future.

I've already run the gauntlet on Phoenix. ;-)
The government funds all manner of projects, so why not a project or two
to look into time travel. But the most that could be done is 'white
papers.' I'll work on a piece on time travel from the various books
and articles that I've got. Should take me a couple of weeks to
generate a preliminary report, which I'll post to the BBS and to the
newsletter. (If that's okay, MC?)

Sandy, why do you assume that higher intelligence necessarily means
telepathy or any other form of "psychic" abilities?

First of all, the idea that the poles are about shift is not well
founded. Second, why do we need saving? What makes the human race so
important in the galaxtic scheme of things?
Here is a problem that I have: there seems to be those who believe that
the "aliens" are coming to save us. Then there are others who believe
that the "aliens" have come to feast upon us. Frankly, if there are
"aliens" in those saucers, why must we be able to understand their
purposes? Their motives and purposes may be as alien to our thinking
process as their physical appearance is to ours. They might not even
see us as being worth but a miniscule glance, maybe not even that much.
Yet, I've seen articles and books written about how our "Space Brothers"
are coming to rescue us from our own folly before we fry this planet to
nuclear dust. Why would they even care? What are we to them?
If the calculations are correct (and they are conservative
calculations), there are at least a billion planets that could support
life. Most of those planets would be older than earth and the
civilizations and concomitant technology would be far older then ours.
Interstellar flight might have already been accomplished by some of
them. Beyond that I don't know how much we can 'reasonably' speculate.
But it seems rather clear to me that to ascribe to aliens a human set of
feelings or motives is a rather strange and homo-centric thing to do.
We might be no more intelligent to them than insects are to us. How
many of us spend out time trying to stop ants from fighting one another?
I know that for some this is an emotionally charged issue. I'm not
trying to offend. But it just seems to me that we, the human race, must
take responsibility for our own actions. We must deal with our
propensity for war, greed, and hatred and not look to some alien race to
come and save us from ourselves. If they save us, we've learned
nothing. If we solve our own problems, we've learned and grown.
Just personal opinion, for whatever that is worth.
