They ran tests on a number of different things, and we know that many things
have electricial properties. One theory was that organic mater that was
once alive will still have an "aura," fainter than while it was alive but
non the less still there. They have done fossils and discovered a faint
aura around them as well.
A steel ball doesn't have an aura, but it looks like lightning striking out
from it.
I have been interested to learn more about this type of photography. Have
been talking to some in the photo echo about it, but so far have not found
anyone who has done it yet.

I agree, there is something more to it that just the military playing games
with each other here, granted they will use anything they can to further
confuse the situation.
Remember the Foo-Fighters ? No one knew who they belonged to and once they
figured that out then rumors started and so didn't the mind games of who
"they" belonged to.
