Forget MJ-12, stick with Roswell. Prove Roswell, and MJ-12 (or whatever its

Excellent point...I'm tired of people saying there's nothing to it when
the information they have is Pre-Bluebook! I have a few friends who
think I'm crazy for being interested in the phenomena, but when I whip
out various books and documents, they all have the same
reaction...weird look on their face and then they say 'Ohh, that's
interesting...'

Very interesting. That is great. I heard from someone, can't at the moment
remember who, that Stringfield had heard that MacArthur had made a trip to
Mexico to supervise and observe a crashed UFO. Upon the inspection, he
observed alien bodies and human body parts. This is contributory to why he
made that statement. Again, this is only unverified speculation. Let me
know what you come up with and I will also keep you posted. I am contacting
Len to see what I can find out.

The story eventually went dead. The last time I had contact with
Dr. Maccabee on what the results were on the voice analysis was
that the tests were inconclusive. Maccabee stated that there was
not enough of the voice to study and positively identify as one
of the crewpersons onboard Discovery.

Jeff, I haven't heard aything else about any other sightings in this
area, although I have been watching for anything in the papers, news,
etc. I do think though, that there was some activity in Middle
Tennessee around the time of their predictions, but that's not in the
area they were talking about! Will keep up with them, since I have
some friends who live in the Nashville area that are interested in this
stuff. See you.

Yes Jim now that I have thought about it summore and seen what has been
going on with it, I am no longer convinced(not that i ever REALLY
was)..Regardless though, it certainly has stirred up plenty of coverage
of UFO's in the states now, sumthing that is both beneficial and
detremental...

I just had a talk with a good friend of mine who is as interested in the
UFO/Alien phenomena as I am, and he recently talked with a woman who was
involved in military operations near Roswell, stationed at a military
base nearby, she revelaed to him, that she was immediately after the
crash, assigned to patrol the desert carrying automatic weapons for a
period of several days after the crash, she claims they were worried of
possible survivors of the crash and was told to shoot first and ask
questions later.. She of course was later told by the military to keep
totally quiet and never tell a soul...Well, she did and she is worried
now..I hope to have a talk with her soon, but she does not want to talk
very openly about the subject seein as she was threatened quite
severely.. I am hoping as I said to contact her soon and will provide any
other info I can get, but obviously, the military was very worried that
there might still be something out there that could be dangerous, hence
shoot first ask questions later..

I forgot to say in my posting, Don, that I really appreciate you having
the courage to appear before a national audience and tell the pro-UFO
side of the story. Keep up the good work, and I hope you will have
more opportunities in the future.
Don, I wonder if you would have the time to give the rest of us a feel
for what went on behind the scenes -- how you got approached to do the
show, how you prepared for it, what happened off camera, whether
Adams, Buchanan, etc., took you seriously even for an instant, etc.
Don, I am happy to see pro-UFO spokesmen and women come forward.
As I told Jim Speiser a year or more ago, sometimes I think all UFO
researchers and investigators should stop researching and
investigating for a whole year and start full time public relations
for the UFO. We can only do so much with ad hoc, underfunded research
and investigation. Look how long it has taken ufology to understand
what it has, an understanding that the US government has probably had
since the late 1950s or even earlier, perhaps. One wonders how long
ago Thomas Bullard's excellent study of UFO abductions was done in
secret by the US government.
I need some feedback on the latest opinions about the accuracy and
reliability of William Cooper's UFO information. My local UFO study
group has been contacted by Aileen Edwards' abductee support group
organization about an offer by William Cooper to give a talk, but only
if Edwards' group can guarantee around $2000 for Cooper ($20 a head). Is
Cooper running around spreading his information to other UFO groups
around the nation? Do MUFON speakers receive gratuities for speaking?
I have some of the Cooper material from ParaNet, and I heard Cooper
(and Lear and English) speak at the recent MUFON Conference in Las
Vegas. Has ANY of Cooper's information been substantiated from
completely independent sources?! If his stuff is US intelligence
establishment disinformation, we would expect his information to be a
mixture of fact and fiction, right? On the other hand, if he is
playing games on his own, then perhaps less of his material could be
corroborated, right? I am concerned, of course, with people shelling
out good money for bad information, and I am also concerned that
people will incorporate fantastic information like Cooper's too easily
into their understanding of the UFO situation. What do you think?

UFO SIGHTING NEAR MIAMI, OK

It was October 10th, approximately 8:15 to 8:30 in the evening,
when a lady we will refer to as Violet, a retired healthcare
administrator, was coming from Garnet, Kansas heading south bound on
hwy 59 towards Parsons, Kansas. She looked up at a right angle and saw
glowing objects that looked like upside down cereal bowls. It seemed
that the glow was coming from below like stage lights like found on the
foot of a stage. The top of the objects looked a goldish color, the
middle was a greenish blue, then a reddish color on the bottom. She
exclaimed, "What am I seeing ?" She could see the object clear now.
There was a white ball shapped light that appeard to the left of it
that she described as the shape of a basketball, it glowed real white,
then to the left of that object there was a streak. It all turned off
as if someone turned off a light switch in a home. Then a little
higher she saw the same sort of object with glowing lights. It was just
a deck higher as if there where four stacked on top of each other.
Then it all went dark like someone had switched off the lights....

I talked with an officer in Miami, OK who stated there have been a
number of UFO sightings in that area. Just last night he reported
there were three witnesses to a UFO sighting in that area, two police
officers and a woman reported seeing an object rise up into the air and
pass over the town of Miami, OK. They described the object as having
three white lights in front positioned like a triangle and a red light
in the back. They said the object was about 4 box cars long and the
bottom reminded them of the bottom of a boat. They said when it
started to move they thought they heard a sound that might have been an
engine but then it went silent and passed directly over the town of
Miami.
The officer said the people are definitely seeing something in the sky
in that area but he believed it may be military in origin. He said
they had contacted the military and had asked them if they had any
operations going in that area at this time, the response was that they
did not. He stated that he had been in the military and was aware that
if they did have a special project going on they would deny it.
