I would just about bet that they arn't all up there doing what ever it is
that they want people to think they are doing, or think they are not doing,
whatever.

Yeah, I get a bit tired of this "..it's for your own good..." that we are
building these things, and hiding those things, and about to blow the world
up. It's a bunch of crap.

I guess now is as good a time as any to relay an incident that occurred
about three weeks ago to me. I have thought hard about this and have
tried to accurately recall the facts in an attempt to isolate what
indeed may have happened. The bottom line is that it may be POSSIBLE
that Streiber may have something in his thoughts regarding the
'entities'. I read both Communion and Transformation and enjoyed them
both but did not feel I was greatly impressed by Streiber's writing
style. I was certainly not on the edge of my seat as is often the case
in non-fiction. I began thinking about WS's method of contacting the
entities, and how he discussed his impressions that (if they DO indeed
exist) they are on a 'soul plane' and not on the physical plane very
often. I took the words in and was not terribly impressed, but
something odd about the reading was that I felt as if this all made
sense to me, more so than other explanations (including some of my
own). I do not know why this made sense. In any case I put the books
away after finishing them and went about life not changed by the
reading at all of course. Then two weeks after, I was startled in the
middle of the night by a loud banging on the side of my house. It was
coming from slightly below the roof line and above the window. My first
honest impression was :"Someones on the roof!" So the dogs and I (who
were also startled) got up, and I pushed my wife nearly off the bed to
wake her up (reality test). As I approached the window the banging
stopped (I was not in a hypnopompic state at this time) and as I looked
up through the screen of the window, a bright white light swirled into
my face and vanished. Second thought: "the guy on the roof fell off and
that was his flashlight!" This was on the second floor of my cape near
the peak of the roof. Not a sound was heard of anything hitting the
ground 35 feet below, and I IMMEDIATELY opened the window and looked
DOWN, then UP. Nothing.
In the morning my wife asked me what the light was at the window!
(reality test worked!)
Two weeks or so later, another startling incident (maybe a week after
actually) occurred. I had JUST LAID DOWN in bed and looked at my
sleeping wife, then closed my eyes. I was not too terribly tired and
felt a little insomnia, so I began doing meditative relaxation. As I
approached the moment of full relaxation, my eyes snapped open because
I felt like somehting was in front of my face. There in front of me as
real as this crt is as I write this, was a white tube-like affair with
holes in the side of it, a box construction on the end with some type
of long line attached to the back of it (wire-like). This object moved
from my right peripheral vision, directly to the left , traversing my
full range of vision giving my AMPLE time to study its construction. As
it passed my center of vision I struck my wife with my hand and she
awoke, a little angry. The object by now had gone to my left peripheral
side. I looked quickly at her and back and it was gone. She saw
nothing. I felt very strongly that the object was incredibly real. In
the morning after a restless night, I had a terrible headache that
lasted the entire day.
Well for what they are worth there are two interesting events that
occurred with me lately. They are accurate insofar as I can recall.
