LINE FINDING SOFTWARE NEEDED!!!!
--------------------------------
I am interested in obtaining code on line extraction methods from edge maps.
Can anyone provide code, in Pascal, Fortran or C, for the line detection method
described in
Nevatia and Babu, ``Linear Feature Extraction and description.''
Computer Graphics and Image Processing, Vol 13, pp 257-269 (1980)
Any free software for other good line finders would also be appreciated.
Please send any suggestions to

Hi netters:
Are there other lists where discussions on image processing, pattern
recognition, computer vision (or related area) are carried out ?

Could someone provide me with a C- code fragment or *ptr on how
to calculate a 'heated object colormap' for 8bit display hardware?
this colormap is frequentlty used in medical image processing.
i'd be interested in other colormap techniques also.

I am graduating with a computer engineering degree in August.
After I get a job, I plan to go for either a MBA or MS in CP emphasising
in image recognition. If anyone can give me some insight on the subject,
it would be appreciated.
Thanks
